There’s more to Blanchflower than just soups, salads and sandwiches.Admittedly they do very agreeable versions of these, but is that really why you purposely set out from the comforts of home and purposefully ignore the wiles of Deliveroo? No.Now I don’t mean to systematically review every restaurant in Altrincham, Hale and Bowden, but it was long overdue for me to sit down and resist the temptation to wolf down viennoserie and doughnuts.Catching sight of the special, I abandoned thoughts of a beef bourguignon and ducked into Blanchflower. The vibe is relaxed and service friendly. For some reason I never feel the same putting at ease when out in Alderley Edge, go figure. After no deliberation at all, I opted for the fish pie washed down with the house white.

Stopped in to Blanchflower for a spot of breakfast last Monday and was blown away with the quality of the food and drinks, the welcome and service of the staff as well as the overall vibe of the place.I had the fry up, which was delicious. You could tell straight away all the ingredients were of top quality. The coffee, both in Latte and americano forms were also top notch. The other half had the French toast, which was outrageous. Probably about 5000 Kcals, but who cares when it's that tasty. We will certainly be back next time we are in Altrincham.

I’ve been here many times now and the food, drinks and service are always impeccable!! Highly recommend the french toast, cronuts, fried chicken sandwich and the oat flat white is one of the best I’ve had! Great interior and lovely relaxed atmosphere. I believe everything is made in house and it really shows that care has been taken in the making and preparation of the food! Always a good array of options to please everyone and a good amount of outdoor seating too! Cannot recommend enough if you are in the area.

Went for a late brunch when busy, food did take a while but in the end was well worth the wait. The coffee and caramel brownie wasn’t bad either!

Clean and tastefully decorated. Food was lovely. Staff and service were very good. Helpful advice for finding our way around. Would recommend. Shame I live so far away.

This was our first visit to the cafe. The coffee was excellent, and the food was both delicious and visually appealing. The sourdough bread was made on the premises and was delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a lovely brunch. In addition, the staff was extremely pleasant.

Called in for brunch on a whim on a Saturday afternoon. Had a short wait for a table, but it was well worth it! Coffee was excellent, as was the food. I had the salmon eggs benedict, and my friend had the pork shoulder version of the same - which, if anything, looked better than mine! Staff were attentive and efficient. Recommended.

Really amazing breakfast, we had full english, frittata and french toast with coffee. 5 stars without a doubt.

I have tried a lot of brunch places around UK and although a lot of them are very delicious this place is bringing their A game to brunching scene👏EVERYTHING in this place is seasonal and locally sourced. All their bakery is done in house and that's dedication😉 from fresh incredible sourdoughs to sweet pastries. Hazelnut cruffin anyone😜? They got you sorted🤗Their menu is incredible and unique. I was blown away by their ox cheek eggs Benedict 🙌 tender slow cooked meat and excellent hollandaise sauce 😍 their Aloo bennies are second to none crispy onions imitating the onion baji and slightly curried hollandaise is work of art🤤🤤If you fancy a sweet breakfast tho then definitely get their french toast🙌 the fluffiest bad boy ever and so damn pretty 😍 on average you pay between £6-10 the eggs Benedict are £10 which is fair price for Manchester and for how generous the portion is and for the quality of ingredients.Coffee was great too and there is a choice you can pick the hand pour coffee for different experience.Overall I will be returning
