Borage Restaurant in Trafford

We tried this restaurant after hearing such good things about it. Sadly wouldn't return . Food was average. Service was OK but slow and the restaurant was on its last service so was half full, just bit attentive enough. Flat atmosphere

An oasis in the culinary desert of Bowdon! This place is high end, city centre Manchester quality, at reasonable prices. So pleased that this restaurant is local to us. We will be eating here again guaranteed! The service was really relaxed and pleasant, food and quality of ingredients were good and paired really well with other ingredients. My only criticism is that the coffee was extremely bitter and I couldn't drink it. A little more investment in the coffee quality / brew process would pay dividends. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Lovely atmosphere, good service but its the food that puts Borage ahead of the rest. 10/10 doesn't do it justice.

It's been a long time since I was in such a nice place, thanks to the good treatment, good food and presentation. Good wines and excellent value for money.of course nowhere is perfect and this restaurant has a small annoyance. The chairs are uncomfortable. But when your palate begins to enjoy good food, your buttocks have adapted a bit.

Wow! Absolutely taken back by Borage this evening. The food was incredible, service was great and the small number of tables made the experience feel extra special. Highly recommend the scallops starter and the beef sirloin main. I don't think the cost was high at all considering the quality is so good and the food is so beautifully presented. We will be back soon!

Amazing hidden gem of a place!The food was so tasty, we went for the 5 course meal, wine superb also.Oh and if you appreciate fantastic service, they’ve got that too!We will definitely be returning!

Possibly nicest meal I have had this year. Great flavours and textures. Excellent attentiveness from staff. Would definitely come again.
