Visited several weeks back before a flight from Manchester airport - by far one of the worst restaurants we've visited. We didn't pre book and was told food was 1 hr wait, but when we sat down - there was no more than 10 people in the pub - and there was still an hr wait! The service was poor. The bloke behind the bar was rude and didn't seem interested to be there. When ordering our food, he kept saying "yep" before I even finished what I was saying, so no surprise he got most of our order wrong - wrong sides, sauces etc. And when we asked a question, it was just an arrogant reaction "WHAT!"When our food arrived, my daughters was completely wrong so it was taken away and by the time her replacement meal arrived, we had all finished - so she had to eat on her own whilst we sat and watched. The food arrived again and still not right! But had eaten it as didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for replacement bad food. The refill drinks are the worst we've had - I know you never expect much from this, but I can say I've had 30p cola taste better. We told the manager of our experience, and it was just a very hush apology. It's not often we stay at the local hotel/fly from Manchester but if we do, I would not be visiting again! We have a local Brewers Fayre so we know what to expect, but this restaurant makes our local BF look like the Ritz.

Fantastic service, nothing was too much trouble at all. I suffer with severe allergies and I've already suffered an anaphylaxic shock in the past year because of my allergies, and I rarely go out because I feel a nuisance and embarrassed about my allergies, but this evening I had the most amazing service right from the member of staff who took my order right through to the kitchen staff and the management of the establishment, I don't have much self confidence because I hate telling others about my allergies as I feel a nuisance, but tonight I was treated so good that it has restored my faith a little in eating out more often. Thank you for everything you did I really appreciate it loads.

We had a fantastic night celebrating our 60th Wedding Anniversary. The kindness and attention we received from the staff was unmeasurable. The food and speed of service was superb. We were a party of 19 and all the meals came out in speedy succession. Well done. Special thanks to Mike 👏👏 👏Daniel, Emma and Rebekah for making our night very special.

My two sons visited at the weekend whilst on rugby tour. They are coeliac and don't feel comfortable double checking the food is ok for them to eat. I rang ahead and spoke to both reception team and managers. They couldn't have been more helpful and are very aware of the importance of catering for allergies/ autoimmune diseases. My boys were looked after brilliantly and I personally would like to thank all staff involved. They had a great time a wonderful food. I highly recommend.

Fantastic place to bring the kids. Visited today with my 7 year old, she loved all of her 3 courses (which only cost £4.99). I had scrummy fish & chips too which was excellent. Staff were so friendly & welcoming, well done guys (both front & back of house). The kids play area is great & really good value for money. Such a nice family atmosphere seeing happy kids skipping around in their socks smiling & laughing. Well done again guys, big thumbs up from me

Went with the family. Food was lovely, can't fault it in anyway. Only downfall was the long waits on both meals and desserts.

Very nice Sunday Roast Carvery. Nice restaurant just by the Trafford Centre.

The customer service here by a guy called Bailey was excellent, and he went above and beyond expectation. The hotel itself is old, and it shows. The rooms are tired, old and without any air con or room fan, which is not good when the temp outside is 31°C. There are no plugs near the bed, which you would expect given people need to charge things up and the temp in the lift and corridor was cooler than in the room.Knowing I cannot sleep in a hot room with no or little ventilation, I received a refund and booked a Premier Plus room at Premier Inn Trafford West, which was cheaper, and had air con.A real shame as the staff are brilliant.
