Loved this place so much after exploring The Trafford Centre. Good selection of tasty Thai food, there's something for everyone. The dessert selection was incredible, though the ice-cream machine was a little bland (maybe use whole milk/cream to improve the taste?). Would deffo recommend and go back myself, please open in London!

Had a recent refurbishment and rebranding, which looks good but same company as before. Soups are great, highly recommended and there is a good variety of mains options. Would be better with a larger variety of side/starter options, only had spring roles/onion rings/chicken wings, I'd expect a bigger variety from an excellent all-you-can-eat. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

Ate here last night. Very disappointed. Not much choice at all really for a buffet. After a starter of cold onion rings and chips I tried 3 of the main courses. All were bland and tasted the same. Half the containers of rice were empty and customers were scraping the last bits up. Desserts looked like they'd come straight from Costco. Very poor value for money and we will never be going back. So many better places to eat in the trafford centre.

We visited the restaurant this afternoon and was greeted by Andrew who is simply wonderful! He was very attentive and had a lovely manner. Food wise I would give a 4, other guests loved their meaty options and choices. It lacks vegan and vegetarian options for the main meals as many contain fish sauce. Need to add vegetarian chow mein without fish sauce and a few other dishes, that would really tick the boxes ✅✅👍👍

Liked the food although it was quite limited and not loads of different dishes to choose from but the food was good and the desserts were really nice. Service friendly too. Would go back. Good value at £18.95 each.

The taste of ASEAN foods. Indonesian, Malaysian, and perhaps Cambodian and Vietnamese will also be familiar with these kinds of food offered. They are also some variety of halal chicken and vegetables, and there are also "Nasi Goreng", some variety of "Kolak", "Krupuk" and "Tuk-Tuk". A bit pricy though but the food is super nyummy.

Gonna try make this as honest as I can. Me and the family LOVED Chao Baby and we were gutted to learn that it had closed down and that Thaikun had taken its place. From the reviews I read, before going, we almost gave it a miss. I kept seeing 1 star reviews and that made me reconsider going... but...Thaikun, in my opinion, was actually better than Chao Baby and very clever in the way it has been designed. It has stepped away from the traditional Thai style and gone for a more upbeat, streetfood feel. It works very well. The food was lovely and fresh, and the Tom Yun soup is to die for. The only picky thing I would say is that a greater selection of different Thai food would be better. All in all, we had a great time, loved the food and the staff were very pleasant. The bill was what I thought it was and the voluntary 50p per person added to the bill automatically was the tip, as far as I'm concerned.

First visit yesterday and wont go back. The cleanliness of this restaurant has a lot to be desired. The food was nice but greasy some just warm and not hot. My main gripe was the thick layer of greasy film on the soft drink glasses. The glass machine is probably the same machine used to clean the plates and this is a big no no, resulting in very flat soft drinks. Meat seemed to be stored in big open containers on the floor at room temperature. I tried to address the dirty glasses with a waitress and she said most are like that what you going to do??? But the final piece in this puzzle is that I have since been up all night with an upset stomach so suspect food poisoning. The owner needs to address these before a visit from EHO closes the place.

The food took me back to Thailand... recommend this restaurant. Food is really good, friendly staff and decent prices. Must try the noodle soup. 5 🌟 restaurant
