Cibo Hale in Trafford

We booked Cibo for a Saturday afternoon lunch for a birthday. The décor of the restaurant was very nice, the terrace outside make the most of the weather.The group had a mixture of dishes, pasta, pizza & steak - where the steak was easily the winner. Staff weren't particularly attentive (no one came to ask us if we wanted any more drinks), not particularly friendly when we paid the bill. It was epitomised by one member of staff making us wait for then to walk up the stairs (despite not carrying anything), no thanks at the top, didn't leave us with the best impression.Overall: pretty restaurant but nothing to write home about...

A nice atmosphere, upstairs is beautiful on a sunny day. Unfortunately my main was forgotten and by the time it came out everyone else had pretty much finished. When the lamb chops did come out I found them to be average. The rest of the food was lovely

We eat here about once a month and the food is always divine. I don’t really review restaurants, but I simply have to mention the staff. My little boy was shovelling his pizza in, as little boys do and he began to choke. Every member of staff was immediately on hand to help and support us and luckily he was absolutely fine. I simply can’t thank the staff enough!He was back eating his delicious pizza in no time!

Staff and waiters incredibly rude. Maître d' looked at us in disgust when we arrived 5 minutes late due to roadworks. Waiters rushed us to order and constantly reminded us when our table would have to be given up. Only saving grace was that the food was very nice, despite not having the time to enjoy it properly. Won't be returning.

Great atmosphere, fantastic service, brilliant interior and fabulous food.Attended with family and were pleasantly surprised when we were told that halal meat was offered. Fun! The service was as good as the food served. Definitely one of the best lasagnas I've had in a long time. All the ingredients used tasted fresh and the food was just like it had been cooked at home. Although I'm a huge fan of Piccolino's, I felt the quality of the pasta here was superior as well as the massive bonus of halal meats being used. Will definitely be returning here very soon!Job well done guys!

Photo says it all. Worst Sunday roast ever. Cold, fatty meat. Raw Yorkshire pudding. Microwave mixed veg. Solid roast potatoes. Stick to pasta and pizza.

Exceptional food & service to match — the canopied seating area gives that indoor outdoor vibe and with the sun shining — what an absolute little gem of a restaurant this place is — top quality experience throughout, classic stylish interior with a modern feel and couldn’t fault anything with food at all, delicious crispy squid starter (was spoilt for choice with such a fine menu) Great for a special occasion treat, well worth the trip to Hale for this excellent Italian restaurant, would definitely recommend checking out
