Eat East in Trafford

Food is good, one of the better local chinese restaurants. Unfortunately removing a star as we had an incredibly rude delivery driver (ordered directly from eat east, not deliveroo)

Decided to try East East as an alternative to my usual take away restaurant. Have to say I was disappointed overall. The flavour was Just ok, and the Chicken Bamboo dish ( no 189) had no Chicken. Salt and Pepper Spare ribs at £7.30 was also a let down they were all fat and bone. The fried rice was poor, I’ve tasted better out of a packet from Sainsbury . I’m glad I gave it a go, I’ll be heading back to my usual place next time .

Great take away again this evening enjoyed by us all, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Ordered online and told be ready in 30mins. Took nearly two hours and people queuing out the door waiting. Food was bad when we finally got it. Never again.

after coming back home from a total disappointment in macclesfield, I found myself at my fave takeaway in the area. the sweet and sour chicken was fabulous I would recommend this to anybody in the area. the young man (mr kee) was fabulous to me and very polite.

Lovely food and the staff is absolutely incredible! The kitchen is flawless and everything is squeaky clean! Also some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten!

This place only got one star so I could write a review...! To be clear, I am not someone who readily takes the time to complain on-line, normally cant be bothered. Ive been here before, good food. I didnt get any this time...! I arrived to collect at 720 as instructed. The place was full of people, Id be surprised if there was 2 cm between all the Deliveroo drivers let alone 2m. There was anger in the air, people shouting, and whilst they continued to take orders on the phone (very other call was some poor customer shouting about a failed delivery), they would not engage with the people in the shop asking where their order was. A chap stood next to me, resorted to ringing the takeaway from inside the takeaway to get them to talk to him....! They answered and when they realised he was stood in front of them they just put the phone down and walked off. I was asked my name twice in 40 mins, only for them to walk off and that be the end of it. I have no idea if they even had my order or not.......the worst service I have ever had anywhere.

So far I've ordered 3 times from Eat East and each time it's been superb.They have an excellent range of veggie dishes and I've tried a variety of them and must say they were all full of flavour and authentic.This place has become my favourite Chinese takeaway and taste and quality wise it beats the best Chinese restaurants in Manchester.

Excellent food at this restaurant, the quality is really good and the portion sizes are generous. I got takeaway from here on the weekend (after moving back into the area after a few years away) and I wasn't disappointed. I had the sweet and sour king prawns with egg fried rice and some har gow dumplings and everything was delicious and hot. They even gave me some prawn crackers with the order.
