Est in Trafford

Our server was amazingly polite and helpful so thank you to megan for being so amazing. Unfortunately that was the only positive moment in our experience, we ordered a takeout and after paying we mentioned we would call back for the food shortly. We get home and The food we ordered as a takeout meal was disgustingly salty, inedible. Im well aware of how an arabiata is made and can be somewhat salty due to the olives etc but it was inedible my partner and i had a bite of it and had to spit it out. We ordered two of the same and didn’t even touch the second box. We called immediately to get told “the kitchen closes in 1 minute” so i would have to tell them if i am coming right that moment to collect a fresh meal … Being polite, i declined so they could finish as per their schedule and said i would call in the following day. My partner takes the food back only to be ridiculously accused of having tampered with the food, I'm not even the slightest bit sorry for putting this honest review on your page but how laughable is it were going to tamper with our food just to come and ask for a replacement of the meal provided or a credit note so we can come back in the evening. Now our meal was only £20 takeaway but the fact that she was accusatory is beyond comprehension. Im sorry your chefs don’t understand the concept of trying their own food prior to service. I would avoid just purely down to this woman's response. Avoid getting a takeout as well just incase you’re accused of tampering with your food. Ridiculous

Just been est est est. Was served by a rude waitress who was not happy that I didn’t look at the iPad for allergy advice. I tried to explain that I’d been before and know my dish. But she said “that’s fine I’ll have to put you was not willing to look” confused I asked for the manager. Who said she’d had a word and said it’s to agree to the disclaimer. I explained she never explained this to me.The lady continued to serve us even after I complained about our rudeness. Then the meals arrived mine was loot warm. And as I got further in pulled what I thought was a leaf out of my mouth. It was onion skin.When I complained about the experience from start to finish. Explaining I was a waitress myself. I was met with but onions are in the dish, surely hairs are worse. The manager is highly argumentative. I explained the last time I came I loved it. But this time has meant I’ll never be coming again! AVOID.

We came to est est est as we have been before (a few years ago) my granddaughter was looking forward to it as was I. Was terribly disappointed with most of our meal. I’m going to tell you why now! #oil #grease 😟 every item of food was covered in some oil of some sort. We told our server and he took the garlic bread off the bill. I should of mentioned our mains but for some reason I didn’t. Will not be returning I’m afraid.

Est est est is always nice, If you don't like what you have ordered don't be afraid to try something else. Have been to this one couple times in the last six months, The Caesar salad and the meatballs, are definitely a good choice, The alcoholic drinks are always really nice as well if your not hungry.

Friendly welcome.Calamari was not the standard rings but looked and tested like home made. They were very good.It takes a good chef to turn a simple dish into a delicious meal. The chef from Est manages to do just that. The risotto was excellent and the king prawn linguine was absolutely delicious. Both dishes were very well balanced. And .... the food was served piping hot, a rarity these days.Waitress Wendy was professional, very friendly and helpful.Highly recommended.

Probably one of the worst Italians we’ve been to! We ate here today and although the waiter and hosts were very attentive, friendly and professional, not to mention we we’re served very quickly - the food was absolutely terrible and way overpriced. I was really looking forward to our pasta dishes and they seemed heated up and didn’t taste fresh. My pesto pasta was greasy, oily and tasteless - definitely was a jar of sauce and I’ve eaten tastier pasta at home! My cocktail was watery too and I didn’t finish it - wouldn’t recommend eating here and getting stung by an expensive bill :(

Came for dinner, plenty of seating, our server was amazing, super friendly, very helpful and the food was incredible. So fresh tasting and delicious. Have been here a few times when we go to the Trafford centre. Really reasonable prices and amazing food, will definitely go back soon

Friendly service and the pizza and pasta were delicious!

Me and my boyfriend ate here on New Year’s Eve (in the afternoon) after doing some shopping in the Trafford centre. The service was good and we were happy with our food although we did find it a little strange how fast our food came out after we ordered it (I had the salami pizza with ham and he had a lasagna). Overall we enjoyed our experience until I suffered from food poisoning a few hours later, we had to cancel our evening plans for New Years as I was throwing up and felt awful all night. I didn’t eat anything else that day so it must have been the pizza. Really disappointed as our plans were completely ruined :( unfortunately won’t be revisiting.

Lovely helpful staff.The day we visited was very busy....as soon as one table became empty, it was cleared and cleaned and reseated immediately.We had garlic bread as a starter which was huge., And meatballs with bread with a lovely tomato sauce. For our mains we had meatball calzone and a EST burger with chips. Unfortunately we thought that both meals were bland and lacked a bit of seasoning.With drinks the bill came to just under £50.We've had worse but we've also had better.
