Not been over this way for a while but we fancied a change and I remembered the specials being good. We weren't disappointed. Really lovely food, fresh and well cooked. Definitely recommended. I had the pork with mixed mushrooms. Nom 😋

Sadly I was sorry that our meal on Friday was a bit strange and not as we expected.We ordered fried chicken in a lemon sauce with fried rice preceded by spring rolls.I was surprised that the chicken in lemon sauce was served in separate containers which was a bit dull. Normally at other places the chicken is coated in batter maybe as nuggets then mixed into lemon, often with a few pineapple pieces maybe some onion and a sprinkling of pine nuts or similar. Anyway if that’s the way it’s done it is not something we would repeat. Pity as it appears to have a good response and well recommended but won’t be from us unless I cook can give us a small discount next time.Best regards Brian

We've recently moved into the area and decided to give this takeaway a try. Absolutely beautiful food, generous size portions, authentic and delicious. The standard is restaurant quality at takeaway prices. In fact, better than some Chinese restaurants I've been to! Love the Szechuan Aubergine!! The owners are lovely, humble and friendly. Highly recommend this family takeaway. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent value and taste. Can't recommend high enough. The Szechuan dishes are particularly good as is the whole sea bass (available steamed or fried). Won Ton Soup is also tasty as is the Salt and Pepper Chicken.

Lovely food! Been coming here on and off for years because I use to work two minutes away and it became my go to Chinese takeaway. Tried the crispy chilli chicken in chilli sauce tonight, it was incredible, probably my favourite dish yet, the egg fried rice is always beautiful. I stopped eating pork a few years back but I always use to get the salt and pepper ribs and I reccomended my brothers to try them tonight and they absolutely loved them(no surprise), so they must be still amazing. The curry sauce and salt and pepper chicken was great too! All of it was! It was a big order tonight, there were no mistakes and all my family loved it! The people are always so welcoming and friendly!! Thank you for tonight!! ☺️🙏🏽

Ordered salt and pepper squids and s&p prawn, beef cumin and chow mien. The food is very tasty and portions are generous. Will certainly be ordering again.

Huge disappointment. We ordered special soft noodles and sweet and sour prawn balls, and sweet and sour chicken balls. The chicken balls (of which there were 11?) were massively overcooked and the chicken was beyond dry. The prawn balls (only 7! of these, what a let down) were tiny. The sweet and sour sauce had no fruit or vegetables at all, was so vinegary and sour it was very unpleasant and the portions were insane (one portion was less than a quarter the size of the other). The noodles were drenched in grease, with little to no vegetables and hardly any meat (definitely nothing special here either). Will definitely never eat from here again.

Pleasantly surprised by this chinese takeaway shop. They have szechuanese specials and honestly it does taste good. Spicy and excellent dishes for those cold winter nights. Recommended!
