Waited an hour and forty five minutes for food, phoned them and they claim they accidentally delivered to the wrong address. Anyway still no food.

Excellent meal, this was the best takeaway I have had in a while. Everything was hot and fresh. Will be ordering again

What’s happened? This used to be our favourite Chinese but the last few have been terrible!

Food as expected, nothing special, once it finally arrived. Didn't appreciate it taking 1 1/2 hours for a simple 1 course meal for 2 to arrive, clearly inaccurate information given to customers via Just Eat app. Also didn't appreciate being lied to when querying if our order had been dispatched, was told it had been and still didn't arrive for 30 mins, we live about 1 mile away and were hoping for a nice convenient meal.Disappointing instead of a nice treat, won't bother again 😪

Ordered chop suey roll and special fried rice tonight.All arrived in good order and in good time.The chop suey roll was ok and acceptable.The special fried rice was quite frankly disgusting. Under cooked meat in a watery garlic tasting sauce. And the best bit….a pile of fat on the plate.Sorry but never again.

Poor, poor, very bloody poor!!!!We ordered at 17.05. We were told that the food would take 35 - 50 minutes, which was fine.The takeaway rang at 18:05, and said the driver was close and she’ll contact the driver and tell him to ring us, the driver never did. I went out on foot to see if I could see him/her, meanwhile my fiancé was trying to get hold of the takeaway. The shop did answer but we found it very hard to understand what was being said.We ended up driving down to the takeaway in our own car to then find out that the original call taken by us was from the 5 or 6 year old child that was sitting behind the counter.To top this all off, we ended up paying for the food in full but got a free can of coke in compensation.Avoid at all costs, and we’ll be never going back to Lotus Chinese takeaway ever again!!

Ordered the beef and green pepper and it was like chewing on a cows udder! DISGUSTING! #rubberrecoil

This has to be the worst Chinese take away I've eaten at..Chicken(doubt it is)is like rubber..Rice put a fork into it and the whole rice came out of the tray in one huge piece. Avoid like the plague.Truly awful food

Tried this place for the first time in 2020 after my previous fave (Ma's) closed down, and other than the odd long wait on a Friday or Saturday here and there I haven't had any issues with them. Really love their S&P chips, and their mains portions are always big enough for leftovers the next day. Delivery drivers are so friendly too.

Absolutely disgusting, wrong order and couldn't even eat it. My partner rang back and was told manager wasn't in and pretty much tough. He actually ate some of his and it's 5am now, he's been up being sick most of the night. Great birthday treat. Never again, contemplating reporting to environmental health as there's something seriously wrong
