Saracens Head in Trafford

Amazing food and friendly service, Buttermilk Halloumi wedges are a must have and the steak are delicious. We chose to go with the hot stone cooking method which made the meal a bit more interesting as we could cook the meat to our own preference.

Great pub food. If you're looking for a nice little pub with a good selection of beers and really good food then you can't go wrong here. We had the gammon and one of the burgers and both were really good, especially the chips. The staff were nice and friendly too. We will be back.

We booked a funeral buffet at the Saracens Head and were very impressed. We chose the gold menu and added a selection of cakes for 30 people and it was delicious. The selection was varied and beautifully displayed, and the dishes that should be hot, were. Staff were also discreet, very polite and efficient. I can't rate the venue highly enough, the staff made a difficult afternoon much more of a celebration than a sad occasion.

Friendly helpful staff. Good choice of food. Big car park. Great outdoor play area. Plenty of outdoor space and seating. Indoor ball pit and children's play area too. Dogs allowed in certain areas. Plenty of clean toilets. Recently had lunch here on a family reunion. All involved had a good time. From one year old to pensioners and a dog. Water provided for dog proved to be an accidental paddling pool.

We booked an early meal 4:45, for six people including two children. The service was very slow and we had to go in search of menus. Our order was taken forty five minutes after sitting down and when our food arrived one of our meals had been forgotten! We informed our waitress who hadn't noticed and a meal was then prepared. The food was OK not outstanding and as it had taken so long to arrive we decided that we would not have deserts and risk another long wait.

Visited today the 12th Feb, a table of 6. What a lovely place with Warm welcoming staff. Food was delicious and service was spot on.Decided on a trip to the play area while there. Busy but a big shout out to Helen who is like a breath of fresh air. Lovely to see someone who is so enthusiastic about their job.

Been here today and the food was delicious.I expected the usual pub fare with frozen chips etc., but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals we had.My friend had the steak pie which was packed with meat, no gristle or padding out with cheaper ingredients.My fish and chips were lovely. Proper big fat chips!I'm sick of being served with "fries " when I want a good old fashioned chip.Good work. Keep it up. We'll be back.

I had one of my best Farmhouse steaks here at Saracens Head Lymm! It is a fantastic pub with absolutely caring staff! It is a perfect choice for Sunday family lunch! With a soft play area next to the pub, this place become regular Sunday place for locals! They also serve very delicious Sunday roasts!

Assistant manager was amazing with us both really friendly and food was really quick. Christmas decorations really adds an amazing feel to the place. Great pricing and you get a perfect quantity of food. Will be coming back in the near future.

We phoned up tonight to see if a table was free for x4 people, the website said all full. The lady answered and happily said yes we can accommodate you and booked us in. Once seated we was quickly welcomed and asked for our drinks order, soon after that our main meals and when my daughter ordered her burger we was asked about the sauce, salsa, chips, and any other sauces...wow to how considerate the gentleman was (wearing a navy shirt) to make sure her meal was just how she would like it! I also seen this gentleman help the lady opposite on another table feeding her under 1 yr old little girl with a big folk, to say I have this toddler folk if it's any good and she was absolutely made up he recognised this. I just want to say his customer service tonight was absolutely exceptional and you should be proud to have him in your business!! A* from us as a family of 4 xx thank you. Xx see you again soon.
