Sorento Take Away Food Shops in Trafford

Disappointing.We've eaten countless times at the 2x Bolton venues before they shut down and both were great. We've been here in times gone by with no problem, but this visit was lacklustre to say the least.We pre booked in advance for our daughter's 16th birthday. Whilst we didn't book a Birthday party as such, we did make reference to it on the booking form.Food and drink arrived in an acceptable time, and the food was average taste wise. The Ultimate mixed grill was ok, chicken was a little dry. The Garlic and Herb dip was actually Garlic & Herb Butter! Not sure who thinks that's dip? Daughter's pizza was ok she said, and our other daughter said her chicken nuggets and chips was ok, but the nuggets looked dry. Garlic bread was tasty.The main problem was that most of the food was lukewarm. I'd guess, given that no one's food was piping, that our entire order had been sat on cold plates waiting to be brought over, which is surprising given that the restaurant wasn't that busy.But as it was a birthday dinner, (of which NO mention was made....) we cracked on and ate it.When asked at the end if everything was ok, we explained that to the waitress, who must have spoken to her manager who offered us a free dessert, so yes they acknowledged it but it wasn't something we wanted.Paid the bill (which we had no intention of contesting, put it down to experience) but again - the cost of 4x meals with a drink was around 30% more than any other decent chain restaurant.Ultimately a poor show for what was once a good place to eat.

Fantastic service from front of house, but my main was only luke warm. The plate was cold and I think it had been put under a hat source to keep warm whilst the other plates on the table were cooked. I sent it back and they made a fresh one, it was piping hot but again served on a cold plate! A hot plate would of gone a long way towards getting this right first time and I doubt I'm the first to mention this.

Really lovely meal. Lovely staff. Everyone was very friendly. My friends are vegan and they had lots of vegan options. I had the classic burger and fries and it was delicious and a large portion.

Fantastic service, with great tasting food. Elle our waitress was utterly superb, really on the ball. Nothing was a problem, very friendly very knowledgeable.

First visit to F&B's in many years. Was greatly impressed with the service and quality of food. Our server was Sandra who was brilliant - friendly, chatty and very attentive. The food was spot on and was served in a timely manner. Portion sizes were generous and everything was tasty. Really enjoyed our visit!

I always enjoy taking my daughter to eat here. Its sad to see how the pandemic has impacted this family favourite eatery...restaurants being closed, those that are open experiencing reduced footfall, reduced menu and yet the staff still soldier on. Unfortunately I think its just a matter of time before the doors close for good

The 5* is for the service from Sandra the waitress!! Wow what a lovely lady she is! Worth the visit just to be greeted by her. So warm and welcoming she felt like family! Thank you so much Sandra!2* for the food it isn't great. I've never really had a nice meal from a Frankie's & Benny's chain but we were here as guests for a birthday meal last night.

The service was fantastic and the staff were brilliant. Really friendly, chatty and had the time to talk to you. The food.... wasn't particularly great tho :-( nothing specific just not overly tasty. The abc burger had a really spicy sauce on the chicken, the new York chicken was small but covered in loads of bbq sauce (too much) and started of shared bread was quite dry and not good value for money. I usually LOVE frankie and bennies but left feeling quite disappointed in the food which was a shame after the staff were all so amazing 👏

This visit was the most disappointing experience we have ever had at an F&B restaurant. The welcome was mediocre for a pre advised birthday meal, the waitress hardly seemed bothered to take our orders showing a mediocre attitude.The food was very average and the portion sizes disappointing.Once the mains were eaten we asked for the usual Happy Birthday song but were told the music had broken and the staff had sore throats, we approached the manager who then advised he would make it happen. After a further reminder they eventually sung to our Grandson and we joined in.It just felt like they were too busy and couldn't be bothered with us.On the way out we visited the toilets which were poorly maintained, this just capped a very dismal visit and we vowed we would not entertain another F&B again.

We visited for my Birthday for family celebrations & we had to loveliest waitress Lucyna. She made our whole experience wonderful, she was so sweet & even the children commented on how lovely she was. Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure we were happy with our food and drinks. My daughter didn’t like her pasta & she kindly had it taken off the bill for us. The rest of the food was perfect & we really enjoyed our evening after a busy afternoon shopping. Thank you to Lucyna for making it 5 ⭐️t
