Suya Grill in Trafford

Firstly the food is delicious. The cost however and the price increases are not. I firstly ordered almost 2 years ago and again last month.Hugely frustrated because I spent 25 pounds on deliveroo and for the amount of food I got this time round, I was livid. Suya Republick have gradually increased the prices but are also reducing portion sizes. I'd rather they maintained the same portions but increased prices but instead they are following the awful business practice of increasing prices but also reducing portions. 25 pounds when compared to the amount of food you can get from a Chinese or an Indian take away is ghastly. Want to always support black owned businesses but not like this. Reinstate the original beef suya portions.EDIT: Thanks for responding. I'm going to have to disagree with you where you say you've increased suya portions unless you've only done so in the last week. Other customers have also highlighted the portions. As a business, make of that what you will. Indigenous most certainly, like your customers ;-)

Great food, the suya is one of the best I've had since coming from Nigeria. Would gladly travel for their meals, worth every penny😁

Been ordering from Suya Republik for a while now and I am never left disappointed. Love the suya! It’s definitely my go to comfort food on gloomy days.

I travel 40 miles to visit this restaurant and it’s always been so so so good but after my recent visit I’m wondering if they have changed their chef. I would say the food portion sizes used to be good but have gotten a LOT SMALLER while the food prices have risen significantly. The jollof was £6.50 and didn’t even fill the small tub, it also seemed to taste bitter (not like it used too) and the plantain was £2 and I’d say that was probably half a plantain cut up into small cubes it also tasted like it was either too ripe or the oil was really old. The suya tasted great but again the portion sizes have reduced. Also the wait time is really really frustrating, I phoned and pre ordered they said 20 mins, I arrived after 20 mins and still had to wait nearly 20 minutes. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be back, such a shame when we were so looking forward to the food and spent so much on fuel just to get to you.

Great value for money. Everything was super delicious and my family enjoyed it. We are coming back for more.

The chicken Sharwama was tha bomb!!..Well prepared and the chicken Suya is A1💯 and everything was sooo timely. Took very little time than I expected for both. Soo much worth the trip from Huddersfield. So glad I work close by now. Suya Republic, take all my money pls 🤪🤪

Suya Republickan was recommended highly and lived up to its reputation. The jolloff rice was different from what I'm used to but nonetheless delicious as was the fried rice. As for the dodo gizzard, this was exquisite. I will definitely be returning even if it does mean travelling in from St Helens!

Hired Suyarepublick for my boyfriends 35 birthday party. It was a hit, weeks later people are still talking about the food. They have been saying it’s the best food they’ve ever had at a party and there was no food for me to keep at the end of the night. Customer service was excellent, let me taste the food so they could understand what I wanted. Lovely owners. Would highly recommend them.

This is the chicken that came with the food I ordered via Deliveroo! You can see the blood. This is the most dangerous meal I’ve ever had. Both jollof and fried rice were really bad - but this chicken!! It scared me to death, cos I had started eating and it wasn’t until I opened deeper that I saw it was basically raw!This is not healthy at all, please do something.

This evening, I had my first experience with Suya Republick. Their food is absolutely amazing! I give credit to the young lads, who were keeping up with the orders. They are in high demand! The food was well presented, the quality was fresh! The Kebab was actually quite impressive! This is coming from a Middle Easterner, as kebab is known to come from our region, but your guys hit right out of the park!The Suya packed a punch! Really strong, but in a good way.But the star of the night had to of been the Jollof rice. The flavours were very different to what I am used to, but they worked so well.Seriously, as an overall verdict, give these guys a try and did I mention that they offer Halal food as well?Once again, thank you guys so much and I do hope nothing but success for you guys in the future.
