The Gardeners Arms in Trafford

Me and My dad were looking for a pub to go to, and we thought we would go somewhere where we haven’t been in quite a long time, I was able to charge my phone thanks to the help of Nick, play the little arcade machine just as you come through the entrance, music on, bartenders all nice, calm and chill, drinks were all very good, I also noticed how nice they have re transformed the bar etc. I would highly recommend going, all round a very good night out.

Went for a belated Mother's Day meal. Booked online which was easy to do. Was able to amend time as had to go later. Table was reserved when we arrived. Limited choices as it was 3.30pm but we all found something we liked. Cocktails special price 2 for £12 i/o £7/8 each. Beautiful glasses for the drinks - heavy and cut glass. Main meals were tasty, good portions and well cooked (fish&chips, steak pie, pork roast). I had a delicious orange & lemon sponge with custard.Dropped 1 star due to finding small amount of plastic film in pudding. Also the regulars sat at the bar were deafening, we couldn't hear each other speaking. Nearly deducted another star for this but that's unfair on the pub itself, sign of its success!. Staff were extremely busy as I think the pub was full with other diners, family groups and very loud drinkers. Dogs welcomed and water, bowls and a variety of treats on offer for them. Cocktails being made. However they were very efficient, friendly and good humoured - a credit to the place.

Lovely afternoon & evening spent here with family today. Great local pub/restaurant serving delicious food. All meals arrived together, hot, and perfectly cooked. Sunday roast is excellent and generous serving. Homely, cosy atmosphere & great community spirit. Dogs welcome & dog biscuits available (foc) to treat your furbabies! Super-clean & hygienic; tables wiped down every time between customers. Great selection of beers, gin, whiskey, to name a few and amazing cocktails (special offer if buy 2!). Staff are hard working, efficient and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Huge thank you to SAM & HIS TEAM for a very enjoyable afternoon & for going the extra mile! See you all soon! Louise

I randomly found out about this place, while looking for a pub in this area and I was amazed by the food they served me. Amazing fish and chips!

Lovely atmosphere. All the staff are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food is lovely too and the Sunday lunch is excellent 😋

Lovely local pub. Local clientele were friendly as were the staff. The glass wear is lovely too, so if you have a wine/vodka/gin/cocktail it's nicely served. Live band on Saturday 27/11 were really good too.

Went for a meal, and had a lovely time the staff were friendly and helpful the food was delicious the dining area was well laid out with plenty of space, which during this time is essential, will be visiting again soon.

Had the Steak Stone - was excellent - nice thick fillet steak with good accompaniments.(Usually begrudge having to self-cook at a restaurant, but the steak was thick enough that I could cut every mouthful as and when and have it medium-rare.)Good value food, and good service too.Will return

Very nice place good food with very attentive and friendly staff. Even when things are pretty manic and busy the service remains top notch.You're very rarely waiting long at the bar in busy periods and service is always with a smile no matter whether its busy normal or quietExcellent food too I must say

Omg what an amazing place, I came here and was absolutely stunned to find you can cook your own steak. Thier was few friends I went with and we all had a great time. The drinks were also In very posh glasses. You can even bring your dog so friendly. A must go and bargain prices too.
