1 star is flattering for this place. Ordered drinks, got them 45 minutes later and didn't even get what we ordered. I enquired at the bar, where the girl just laughed. Guinness was poured in one go without out even tilting the glass. I'm actually shocked that a place could be this bad

This an example of a business that only exists because it has a monopoly. In a competitive environment customers would vote with their feet. The bar has adopted an online ordering system, which I'm sure would be fine if it was effective and efficient. Despite large numbers of staff I waited 26minutes for a one drink order. Tech gremlins might have been the cause but a savvy business needs resilience and continuity to deliver customer satisfaction when a small disruption occurs. Surely the last 3 years have hardened all companies or has it resulted in a loss of customer service?

I need to flight through Manchester airport for business trips very often, before the pandemic this was a place where usual I stopped to get some food and work until the gate open. This place before Covid had a nice service and a very good burger, so I always knew that in my business trip, this place was always a good choice. Unfortunately in my first visit to UK I had a really bad experience in this place, I order a burger and a beer, the burger was delivered and the beer only 30 min after the burger, then the burger quality was so bad that I couldn’t eat it, it was dry, too cooked and terrible taste. How is possible such change, because the airport is busy again, I was expecting a normal service again. So, most probably next time for food I should go to burger king, because at least I know that the quality is standard.I changed my rating from a 4 to a 1 start after the last experience

Google its an ace place, read the reviews before you eat out is my advice.OK so maybe the mouse running across the floor should have given the game away as to what we were in store for. The food, wow, how can you make something as simple as an English breakfast taste so bad. The sausages were Farm Foods bargain section and tasted more like fat than anything of anything else, the tomato so hard that it was uncuttable, the bacon fatty, and the eggs truly wow they were made of pure rubber. It was all expensive and with Giraffe across the way (it was shut this early) given my time again I would rather eat the toilet blue disks or starve than eat there again. I can still taste the food and its been 3 days since I ate it.

No human ordering, presume you have an app.. And presume you need to know how. Coffee is mingy to be honest.. Can't believe they charge over 3 pounds for it, had better in construction sites.. Glass bottle comes to the table with no cap.. Can't take your own water either..

Through security, past the shops, and up the escalator at the far end. The Grain Loft, Terminal 1. Really poor! The app to order everything from was very basic and didn't allow amendments to breakfast. Had to order separate breakfast items, for another in my party, that all came as separate items. It's pretty obvious 'it was a breakfast'. Table 513. Guinness line was off. Bar server who brought food took it to a different table. When they said they hadn't ordered it, he was about to just walk off and leave it, till we realised and shouted him over. Clearly didn't seem the brightest spark, although it was 0530hrs. Breakfast was warm, bacon hard, eggs like rubber and not quite sure what the greasy liquified potato things were supposed to be. Sausage was poor quality, but the beans were nice! Not a patch of the Lion & Antelope in Terminal 3

A very pleasant place to spend your waiting time in after going through security. You can get everything from coffee to breakfast to snacks to drinks here, and at quite a reasonable price considering this is an airport facility! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the premises are quiet and clean; there also is a big digital board showing the departures for keeping an eye on your flight.

Terminal 1 after security. Clean and modern. Polite welcoming staff. Quick service. Order through the app. I found it very simple. Power socket under the seat. A huge thankyou for doing a vegan breakfast. I only give 5 stars when the whole menu is plant based, hence the 4 stars.

Visited twice whilst passing through Manchester Airport. First time was for drinks (2 × G&T). Usual high prices, but lovely drink with excellent tonic. Were told upon entering that drinks would take 20 minutes!! Ridiculous and untrue....were served after 5 mins despite the silly ordering system. Second time went for food after giraffe announced they were 'closing for lunch'. Service was poor and food barely passable (see image of Ultimate Fish and Chips).

Clean, polite staff and they bought the cheeky beer pretty quickly 😉3 stars as you had to order via a 2d barcode. Whilst I like the idea in the pandemic, what about those whom don't have a smart phone? I saw an elderly couple walk away saying they don't have a "fancy phone".Pretty sure the staff member should have catered 🤷♂️.Beer was clean tasting, and food went too bad for a quick bite 👍
