Lovely large pub, great for larger groups. Nice and clean too.

Visited at lunch time and had a fish goujon sandwich. It was swimming in tartare sauce and the fish batter was over done and full of oil.

Chef and Brewer - therefore goods varied menu. Great service and an airy, spacious feel to the place. Very handy for Altrincham centre as well.

Really nice pud the staff are very friendly and helpful the food is very good quality and excellent service and very reasonably priced definitely worth a visit thanks Griffin for a wonderful afternoon

After a day at Dunham Massey this place is just perfect, only a couple of minutes drive! Food fabulous, staff great couldn't fault the place. Only one things was we tried to book online for 8 of us and it showed nothing available, so with a bit of persistence eventually finding the phone number and we're booked in, you may lose bookings because of this app issue, and if the app or website actually listed a phone number that would help

Absolutely first class in every way. Lovely pub with very welcoming atmosphere and interior, staff extremely attentive and professional.Big thanks to Matthew who took care of our meal and table, absolute pleasure to engage with.We'll definitely be returning again, can't recommend paying the Griffin a visit enough 😀

Really nice here with friendly welcoming staff. Plenty of car parking. They offer a good choice of food and drink. Comfortable furniture and clean bathroom facilities. Not over priced.

Lovely place and great staff! Lara helped me with my bank card struggles, Ellin took our order and jack served us. From start to finish they cant have done enough. We'll definitly be back.
