Upstairs and down stairs bars , toilets are a typical wetherspoons mission downstairs and normal distance upstairs ! , all ales downstairs , selected drinks on upstairs bar. Smoking at the front , outside back permanently closed due to back houses (noise levels) no drinks at the front when door staff are on , normally just Friday and Saturday night , friendly place , a complete typical wetherspoons ! Only 4 star due to back permanently closed

Bar staff friendly and helpful.Food didn't take long at all.Ordered the Large mixed grill with a drink.Probably the best meal I've ever had in a wetherspoons. The lamb and stake were cooked perfectly, medium rare and with lots of flavour.Fired egg was sunny side up, giving an extra bit of flavor and lots of colour to the plate. The grilled tomato and mushroom, spot on.Same for the onion rings and baked potato. My compliments to the chef. Great job !

I had chicken burger and couple of pints of the IPA. Very nice. Love the idea of ordering via Qcode, no queuing at the bar.

Nice atmosphere , Monday club always has good deals on beers ladies toilets had not been attended to for hours only one toilet ,the other toilet had a door missing one member of the bar staff left the toilet without washing her hands ,made sure that she didn't serve us at the bar

Weatherspoons in Sale. Went their for lunch twice whilst in the area for a week and will likely go back when next in Sale for a few days. Pleasant staff and clean comfortable surroundings along with reasonable food at reasonable prices. Good value.

I rarely rate Wetherspoons pubs as they are always great value for money and very friendly service but today at JP Joule I had the worst experience at a Wetherspoons ever.Whoever was "managing" the upstairs part informed me after booking drinks on the App I had to go downstairs and order from now on as they were short of staff. No problem, I went downstairs for my next order and overheard staff complaining about upstairs. My next order I decided to order on the App as the bars were quite and bar staff were standing around. I waited 10 minutes and remembering I was told by the "manager" upstairs there was no service for orders allowed up from downstairs I went down and complained after complaining I received my order promptly. If there is an app/staff problem Wetherspoons need to make this clearer as it can lead to very unhappy customersI have been to Wetherspoons where the App has been shut down at busy times and I find that very acceptable.

The food was nice the staff didn't seem to know what was going on, ordered diet coke and Pepsi max and she didn't know which was which, ordered two 8oz steaks one rear one medium rear and she didn't know which was which. Had refill tea no tea bags, no hot water no milk, dont think we will be going back again all in all the food was good but the staff need some training.

Went in the afternoon for lunch, all good. Kind staff, clean venue. I had the steak menu and it was good, chips where nice but there's definetly room for improvement to cook them better!

I understand that pub food isn't high quality however, the cheesy garlic bread I had was a disgrace. The soggy semi raw based bread covered in greasy plastic like cheese made me sick. On the bright side they did take 30mins to make so good to see them taking care to make poor quality food.

Excellent pub! Once we arrived a staff explained everything about the procedure of the social distancing, the form to fill, etc, then he helped us to our table. The order came very quickly, and again a very nice staff. The place is awesome with very nice decoration, and clean tables. We had a very nice time! Thank you
