come out of the station turn left pass all pubs till you arrive at the best pub in Alty - good pints /food bar staff and clean toilets -everything that makes the perfect pub -arise Sir Tim

Disappointed with the meal, place was clean and the drink cheaper than the other locals. Not much atmosphere.

Didn't like it, been in twice now we sat near the kitchen and the hatch where used plates go, table 8 steer clear.Banging plates, food left for a good while, bottles being thrown in a bin, traffic out off the kitchen, wasn't good.Food was cold, burger had no taste, table wasn't cleaned, had to ask someone to do it, he wasn't happy, had to ask for a menu, I don't care how busy a place is, number 1 priority is customers this place has zero customer focus.Compared to the one in Bury, it was awful, perhaps send staff to Bury to learn how to be more customer friendly.I will not be trying it again.

Good food good atmosphere! Great spot in town

Not the best experience. Although cheap the food was poor. A long wait first only to find fish was overcooked. Chicken and ribs arrived cold and then were obviously microwaved so then overcooked. Staff were put out when asked to reheat food. Poor show

It was raining so I went in because I like the pub there was tables free and for 99pence I could get a tea and as many top up as I needed. It's machine tea or coffee which I'm not a fan of bit any port in a storm and it still was raining and my tea was hot.The staff where helpful, while I didn't eat the food it looked good, everybody tucking in. The ladies toilets where clean and tidy. I had a nice visit.

Visiting my home town of Altrincham where I grew up for the 1st time in a few years as I now live in Greece I loved the unicorn. It was relaxing and the staff were very nice and friendly. The range of cask ales was great, I enjoyed the abbot ale and of course the Stella. I visited the pub 3 times in the 5 days I visited.

My breakfast was a bit cold and the toast was burnt. They tried to hide by putting the burnt side on the bottom. Complained and the new piece of toast was like warm bread. Complained again and got another piece that's was just about ok.

Pretty standard for a Wetherspoons. Bar is well layed out. Toilets were clean and well stocked.Service was pretty slow. One of our party ordered food they only got half the order right. Then said it would take 20 mins to get the replacement order.Unfortunately we didn't have the time to wait for the food and eat it.Poor service is the reason for 3 stars. Especially as the bar wasn't busy.

Lovely food and drinks. The atmosphere was great too. I had a Sirloin Steak and chips, absolutely delicious. The staff are very nice and friendly, probably the best experience I’ve ever had in a Wetherspoons. I would definitely recommend
