Tasty, tasty.I was recommended to try their salt and pepper chips when I was looking for this food when all Chinese takeaways were closed during Lockdown 1. Turned out I was asking at the right time: they had all just reopened! I’ve had S&PCs from many places but finally tried this place on Friday. I think I’m addicted to them again now! This place does either my second or first favourite version of them! I’ll have to keep trying them to see who wins the competition. I had them again last night and will have them again as soon as I can 😇

Best local chippy by a mile. Chips are the right balance of dry/greasy. Fish is great, I usually have the chicken breast with chips and the hot Chinese curry sauce

Decent chippy, curry sauce isnt the best and chips slightly rushed. But maybe a bad day, had better from there. Had better at other places also.

Chips, gravy and peas and a large chips for over £10, shocking portions as the large chips came in a polystyrene tray and wasn’t enough to feed one let alone the two it was for!It also costs nothing for a smile, staff are always miserable!!Won’t be heading back any time soon!!

Chicken barm not cooked properly, I felt the texture after a bite, it instantly made me feel sick, the excuse was only one part of the cooker was working, they didn't test the meat with a temp probe they were just taking chances discraful won't be supprised if they make some really ill or kill someone with their lack of cooking skills 🤮🤒

Cooked my fish fresh, chips,perfect, lovely staff and polite all was super tasty, consistent as always! Well done 5 stars

Been going to this chippy on for years, but over the last three years, or so, my experience has been very disappointing for a number of reasons. For example, the fish and chips have, on many occasions, been dark, hard, over cooked and bitty due to, I expect, the use of small potatoes; the fish and chips portions are shrinking every time I call in and yes, as another reviewer said, one particular, more mature, member of staff uses the poly' tray trick to give you small portions.This member of staff always looks miserable and has a snotty attitude. I remember calling in and asking for a portion of chips and getting a snide comment about only buying chips; this was in front of other customers too. I'm not going there again. I'm writing this review as a consequence of actively looking for an alternative chippy.

1st time I've tried here and the fish was greasy and batter was soggy, was very disappointing, should of known with it being empty on a friday. Want be going back again, chips were just ok
