Great selection of plants, found just what we were looking for. Food is lovely and fresh. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cafe looks good/clean but service is poor and it's overpriced. My mum paid ÂŁ5.50 for fried egg on toast for breakfast and when it came it was one very small fried egg on one piece of toast!!! Unluckily for customers who arrived after us, the power in the kitchen went down and a waitress announced that they could not serve any further food or drinks and was offering refunds. Soft play area nice for small kids.

Not the first time I have had to wait over 20 mins for a cup of coffee , when will management put someone who knows what they are doing in charge of this restaurant? The service never fails to surprise me it is diabolical, table after table of dirty pots , waitresses either talking amongst themselves or just no interested in the job .I asked why my coffee was taking so long and I was told by a young man he had many to do .....ever thought of putting 2 people on drinks ? Will not be returning for another diabolical show of customer service.

Seemed to have a good selection of plants but unfortunately we didn't have time to browse as we called in between meetings for lunch. All empty tables in the main dining room had dirty dishes on them so we had to sit in the dog friendly area. Our food took an awfully long time to arrive although we had only ordered sandwiches with an optional upgrade from crisps to fries. The food was very disappointing, the fries were warm not hot, the bread on my sandwiches was dry and unbuttered. We had to ask for clean cups as both were dirty. There didn't seem to be enough staff to provide table service and we had to go and look for someone do that we could pay our bill. The toilets were just acceptable and could do with renovation. There seemed to be a few buckets about on the way round so I imagine Dobbies who took over this garden centre not too long ago will make improvements. Would definitely visit again to look at all the plants properly, the few we saw looked good quality.

Had a lovely afternoon tea. Two of us had the vegan option one if us the omnivore option both were delicious with plenty of variety and flavour. It was very busy but staff were both polite and helpful

What a lovely place. Clean, tidy and the staff are very helpful. Had a coffee and cake in the cafe, thoroughly enjoyed them and reasonably priced. Definitely will be going back.

Lovely shop with great range. Cafe lovely with nice cakes however staff in cafe need to buck up a bit. Told it was table service but over 15 minutes for someone to come. Told coffee machine had been turned off as getting near closing time - in a cafe??? Surely it should only be turned once closed? Staff were grumpy and very slow.

Good to pop in for a coffee and a cake but wouldn’t return to eat there again! The cafe was very messy and had to clear our own table to sit somewhere as all the tables were messy. Understandable as we could tell they was short staff but maybe make the cafe smaller if the team can’t handle all the tables? Not a good experience, the staff were friendly but could tell they were stressed, we had to wait along time. Needs rethinking!

Terrible !! Ordered a portion of chips ÂŁ3.95 they arrived in the smallest cereal bowl ever, I actually counted them and there were 11 chip's In it and they were reheated, it's like they had been keeping them warm under heat lamps, also paid ÂŁ5.20 for a child's chicken nugget and chips meal, which consisted of 5 chips 4 nuggets and a spoonful of dried up beans, needless to say he didn't eat it, I'm appalled they let food like that leave the kitchen, I don't know how they get customers!!!! I certainly won't be going back absolute disgrace, AVOID THE PLACE

I liked the garden centre it was very festive and welcoming, we also used the restaurant which was fairly busy but sadly we waited 29 minutes for toast, 20 of them minutes were after we had our drinks served. The menu stated bloomer bread toast but it was small thin sliced white supermarket bread . Needs description changing or product corrected. We will give it another visit. The staff were very helpful.
