Cantilever Chippie in Warrington

I'm local to this place and it's great, the fact you can use cash or card is good to as the other 2 local chippies are cash only. The food is top notch here too,if your brave go large fish but make sure your hungry🤣🤣glad I rediscovered this place

Lovely food. Had everything we wanted.

Just to say that the fish and chips I bought from the cantilever chippy, were absolutely delicious. Not many great chippys left now,selling "quality "fish and chips.Fish cooked, and battered to perfection., chips, were lovely. 10/10.

I order Large Cod and large chips. The cod was excellent, a good size with a nice batter, chips were a decent amount and tasted ok. Staff were busy and were polite.

Did ask for the sauce to be separate I’m guessing would have been edible and lovely if it wasn’t smothered couldn’t eat it unfortunately

Not my usually experience from here. Chips were bad had eyes, tasted rubbery. Must have been a bad batch of potatoes. Normally one of the best in Warrington. Sausage was a proper chippy sausage.

Its our daughters birthday and we decided to come here for our family tea. After spending 67.00+ on our order, we were very disappointed with the food we received. The chips and fish looked as though they been cooked over and over again. Half of this went in the bin, the cats think it was there bday with all the fish they got. I have always recommended this chippie in the past but unsure if I would come here agin

Not to our liking, had to wait nearly an hour and a half for 2 fish, chips, curry and peas. Didn't get the peas (Gravy delivered) after the wait wasn't impressed fish was slimy with way to much batter ended up binning most of it. Chips were fine only just warm though, Curry was lovely. won't be rushing back unfortunately.
