I ordered a chicken tikka masala and my partner ordered a double burger. My meal was nice but my partner's burger was very overcooked.

Food was a long wait in a quiet pub ,approximately 50 minutesSizzler arrived but didn't sizzle, I ordered the triple hunter, which included burnt onions ,frozen breaded chicken, floppy bacon, double fried chips ,extra greasyBrother ordered a mega mixed grill which cost 17 pound with the upgraded ribeye which was supposedly 9oz ,unfortunately only 2oz of it was edible and it was overcooked, again double fried extra greasy chips. Sausages were good ,egg was good ,gammon was OK, peas were cold ,mushroom was tint and raw ,and 'Grilled tomato was cold and rawOverall food was a solid 5 out of 10Pub was nice ,cordial was OKWon't be coming back for food.

Walked in and was immediately told we could only sit in a certain area of the pub because we had our baby. This area of the pub has no screens showing sports. When we sat there we heard staff saying the heating was broken and permanently on. We were then left sat in that heat, sweat dripping down my crack for 15 minutes with no one coming to take our food or initial drinks order. Also, this has the same menu as The Hare & Hounds in Lowton but everything is 10-15% more expensive as apparently it’s a privilege to be treated like this. Currently sat in The Culcheth Arms where we were told to sit where we like and have been served immediately

Absolutely lovely family oriented pub to go to. The food is great for thr price at good value and the table service is 100%. Would definately recommend. Not enough star rate tbh

·

Visited for lunch with no booking (original venue closed) and not disappointed Friendly welcome in very Covid safe environment. Enjoyed a well cooked & reasonably priced hot plated mixed grill - sadly the advertised real ale not available.

Absolutely love this place. Great food and staff. Have returned here quite a few times over the last few months after being recommend to me. Meals are reasonably priced and delicious. Will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you.
