Lovely to find a place that lets dogs in the dining area. Food took a long time to arrive but it was good when it did. Had the halloumi fries starter which was delicious, and the chicken Sunday roast, chicken was nice and juicy but the Yorkshire pudding tasted like it had been frozen then reheated.

Nice and cosy pub, friendly staff. Dog friendly. Beer is a bit dear at £5.30 a pint haha. Small beer garden at the front. Nice food! Lots of events on, quiz nights and live music etc 👍🏼

Amazing pub. Came here as we couldn't get in another pub with children and a dog in the same party. Lovely food, didn't have much on the menu that we wanted but still good food when it came. Ice cream for the child in the party and dog treats and toys on offer with a little monetary gift. Lovely atmosphereWill definitely be going back when it's warmer so we can sit outside. X

Waited 45 minutes (on a Monday lunchtime) in a one hour lunch break which wasn't acknowledged in anyway! Quail was overcooked so left it (again not acknowledged!)My pattner did say that the Scampi was good and I have to say the homemade burgers I saw coming out looked impressive to the point I wish I had ordered one.

Lovely time today. Cosy fire, blankets and treats for the dogs and a tasty Mac and cheese :)

Walked into The Cherry Tree across the road from here and was immediately told we could only sit in a certain area of the pub because we had our baby. This area of the pub has no screens showing sports. When we sat there we heard staff saying the heating was broken and permanently on. We were then left sat in that heat, sweat dripping down my crack for 15 minutes with no one coming to take our food or initial drinks order. Also, this has the same menu as The Hare & Hounds in Lowton but everything is 10-15% more expensive as apparently it’s a privilege to be treated like this. Currently sat in The Culcheth Arms where we were told to sit where we like and have been served immediately. Today will be the fifth time I’ve eaten here and it’s always really, really good. Decent pint too. Wish they served Coors though

Visited with my mum and when we arrived they were only serving the Sunday menu (not available on website) which had significantly less vegan options. We were told that they couldn’t serve us the regular menu and they could do quorn sausage and mash but the mash was pre made with butter in. So we ordered the falafel burger to share (only option) thinking they couldn’t really mess that up but we were very wrong. The burger was bland and served on a stale bun that wasn’t big enough. No sauce/relish - we had to ask and were given some vegan Mayo. The ‘side salad’ was some lettuce and pepper with no dressing. The 8 chips we were given (yes I counted) were poorly cooked, not crispy and a little bit hard in the middle. Genuinely the worst meal I’ve had in a while.Really really disappointing that in 2022 this is the best they can offer vegans. For reference, the McPlant from McDonald’s is better and half the price. I don’t think we will be returning.Edit:The issue was not with pre booking, I have no idea why this was brought up. The issue was with the menu online not being the correct one - there was no mention of the Sunday menu on the website. There was barely anybody in the pub either so I do not think prebooking would have made any difference whatsoever. Sadly just a very poor experience.

Lovely food...had to order at bar, would've preferred table service...but otherwise staff were really good! Food was so good! And not expensive either...dog friendly too! Couldve done with sharper knives...but didn't ruin things too much lol

It was a great place. Seemed like a lovely atmosphere. I went just on a whim with my friend for my birthday and had a delicious meal. Everythingwas really really well made and the service was great.

Had the Christmas lunch, sprouts raw and burnt on the outside. Stuffing ball incinerated. Took dinner plates away waited 30 minutes for staff to offer dessert or ask if we would like another drink, nobody arrived. Was not busy only one other table of four. Very poor will not be visiting again.
