A very pleasant surprise in the form of 5 small plates excellently prepared and brought to our table by Oliver.A good mix of beers with the Cheshire Cat in fine fettle.Will be going back there whenever we are in the area again, which I hope, will not be too long!

Really enjoyed my visit to the golden fleece I really love all the christams decks and the mulled wine. staff were lovely , very friendly , and enjoyed the small plates! complementes to the chef !!

Went back for my birthday lunch with 2 friends. I decided to have to chicken katsu curry again as its absolutely delicious. And then the Eaton mess for pud...the staff are lovely and always make us feel special. Can't wait to go in again

As first time visitors passing through Lymm for an event, we are SO glad we visited the Golden Fleece. The owners (I think?) were so lovely and welcoming, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the pub itself is beautiful and so cosy. Hope we get the chance to return, it was definitely a highlight of our weekend :)Pic: Proper Nachos (made with fresh oven baked seasoned tortillas) and Buffalo Cauliflower Wings 😋

Had a lovely mix of small plates with my girlfriends from their new menu a couple of nights ago, and our amazing server Jess encouraged us to get a bottle of wine and carry on the night there. Very glad we did and such good vibe, will definitely be back again!

Oliver was very welcoming and polite, we were a group of 12 who turned up an hour early for our booking but it was no problem and the service was outstanding. The food was lovely and great portions. Value for money. See you again.

Veggy roast dinner! They wanted £10.45 for this plate of rubbish, served with freezing cold gravy not to mention the rest on the plate 🤢
