Good room for the price comfortable bed. Clean. Haven't been in park yet. Catering is minimal, only to be used as an emergency in future. Best to leave site, but not really convenient to do this for breakfast with children.

We stayed here very recently and it has a lot of positives. On arrival there was a dinosaur character to greet the children, along with marshmallow toasting. This was fabulous and the kids were so excited. There is a park and an outbuilding which has the entertainment in. There are discos, character appearances, milk and cookies and there was a movie at 8pm. All great. The actual accommodation was BEAUTIFUL. The duvets were gorgeous and thick and my youngest stayed asleep for a solid 6 hours which is a record! The only thing that REALLY let the holiday down was the breakfast. Honestly... the word shambles doesn't even do it justice. We had to pay the night before for a full English, and it is £9 for adults and £5 for children. We sat in the actual restaurant at first, until somebody mentioned that the fried breakfasts were outside in the outbuilding. We walked in to absolute carnage. Dirty dishes piled high on all the tables, so it was difficult to find somewhere to sit. Once we had cleared a table ourselves, we went to the lady who was serving the food. I explained that we'd ordered 6 breakfasts, imagining that she would check us off her list (remember that we'd had to sign up and pay for this privilege). She looked confused and said "...ok?" There were no beans available because they'd ran out, and we were told to go back with our breakfasts and get them later. There was no cutlery available because they'd ran out. There was no hot water for tea/coffee because they'd ran out. There was no juice available for the children because they'd ran out.(I have to mention that breakfast was 8-10 and we went at 9)By the time a staff member came with cutlery, our breakfasts were cold. We were still waiting for beans. The beans eventually came and we had to run up with our 6 plates, which was awkward as there was a massive queue. It was HORRENDOUS. Cold breakfasts, no drinks, no cutlery. There was a character on the stage who was pretty much ignored because everyone in the room was stressed. There was absolutely no management of it whatsoever. This is not a knock on the staff who were there as they were trying to sort the problems, but when there are about 40 families all complaining over lack of tables, lack of cutlery, lack of drinks, lack of food, its understandably very difficult to adequately make everyone happy with a staff of 3 (and one of these was the lady serving the food *when she had it*)It definitely needs a massive rethink and overhaul. If you are staying there and there is a self catering option, TAKE YOUR OWN. Trust me, it will save a world of stress and be much cheaper.

Absolutely amazing stay after a day out at Gullivers World. Only booked one night in standard room with my 4 year old who was excited about the bunk beds however we got offered free upgrade to a pirate themed room. Of course we were made up specially my little boy. Beautiful clean spacious room, staff couldn’t do enough for you, entertainment in the evening for kids, meet and greet characters. Well we had a great stay! Huge thank you to the blonde hair lady she has been just fantastic; I think her name was Louise. We will be back,Al the bestRenata Kostialova, Leeds

Excellent service, from the start of our mini break to the end, the reception staff and the entertainment staff at the hotel were brilliant and the staff at the park were really helpful

I have stayed here a few times and the rooms are always clean and tidy. The staff are fantastic and always make you feel welcome. Hope to be back soon.

Not as good as it looks, menu is very limited (chips with chips and not a lot of veg) hunters chicken is good but depends on the cook thatday. Only being honest the food is not bad but could be a lot better. Staff are really nice, rooms are dated with many things not quite right or not working. 3 stars from me 🙁

Great size family room with bunks for the kids. Visited mid week so mainly tradesmen and business users but restaurant had a varied menu to suit everyone. Warm and clean room, helpful staff, plenty of parking but watch the speed bumps on the access road.

The rooms are very spacious the staff are very friendly and I found the food to be very nice the beds are comfy but the mattress is to my liking but may not be to someone else the rooms are very clean the only let down really was the fact they don't put much tea or coffee in the room but you just have to ask at reception and they give you more so its not a major problem the building itself has a wooden look and is amazing with the christmas feel to it this is my own personal opinion others may not have liked it or had bad experiences but I would not let negative reviews put you off as everyone is different really enjoyed my stay

A beautiful artistically designed building with lovely features. The rooms are large with exciting accommodation included for children. And Gulliver's World is just across the carpark. We went midweek and it was wonderfully quiet. The food on offer was a bit basic but well prepared and we enjoyed it.Staff friendly and cheerful.

I stay here quite often as my work is nearby. Great little hotel. Staff are friendly, helpful and always go out their way to help. I booked wrong week but they went out their way to swap it around for me at no extra cost and were very helpful, food nice and reasonable. Great location for travel around North West
