We have ordered hot and sour veg soup which was lovely with various vegetables and selection of mushrooms in it - perfect balance of sour and spicy flavour. We also had satay chicken skewers which were generous in size - sometimes you get little flat strips - these were chunky and cooked well. Nice fine soft noodles and my son enjoyed his salt and pepper chicken. We will certainly order again. Didn't manage to get pics of all food that we ordered - we were hungry, it arrived earlier than expected on Saturday evening so very much appreciated! Will certainly order again.

Chinese was excellent will definitely be coming back. Many thanks

Decent Chinese takeaway. About 1hr delivery wait time which is normal for a Saturday evening. Not much sauce in the Chow main but the sharing platter was nice. The chicken & sweetcorn soup was quite thick & only lukewarm. But we'll definitely use again & try other menu items.

Ordered off JustEat. Waited over 1hr30 from the original estimate delivery time, and received no delivery from the restaurant. JustEat and the restaurant refused to give me a refund, despite delivering no food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You'd certainly be better off going hungry than ordering food from here

Food was far to salty an inedible. Rang the restaurant to ask them to collect an refund. I have order from here for years an never once complained. An the way the owner dealt with me was shocking. Was told I can't have a refund as I had tasted the food????? Sorry I do not have the ability to SEE my food was salty. Rang just eat an as I had paid cash there was nothing they could do. So wasted £30. My advice pay by card so when you receive your shocking food cooked byy the "new chef" you can get your money back. Or even better don't bother with this place!!!!

So me and my parter fancies a nice chilled in with a Chinese. We ordered from here off just eat. Got told an order time of 8pm. It then got to 8:20pm and no sign of the food. I rang up the restaurant and I got told they were really busy and the food should be there soon and went to ask a question and the girl on the phone put the phone down. After waiting another 25 mins the food still wasn’t here so we rang up to cancel the order and asked for a refund cause we didn’t fancy having a stone cold Chinese after waiting 2 hours after ordering the food. The women on the phone was shouting back and fourth to her manager and all they said was we can’t do anything about it we’ll call the driver and cancel the food but you have to ring just eat. Not really any apologies for the inconvenience and I didn’t even manage to try the food from there but after reading the other reviews I’d rather not and would not be eating or ordering from here again. Disgusting! It’s only 8 minutes away from my partners house too, so no excuses.

Ordered for the first time tonight and will certainly be the last time as well. The appetisers split opinion, I thought they were alright while my wife didn't enjoy much at all. When it came to the main event we both lost our appetite pretty much straight away. We both ordered a box 🗃 meal to go for something different as our usual choices don't offer these. There was just no taste to the sauces and the meals looked congealed and nasty. My wife had the yakisoba sauce and there was less flavour than in one of the pot noodles you'd buy from a supermarket. I had the szechuan sauce which managed to have the heat you'd expect without any of the flavour. We called up to ask if there was any way we could swap out meals for something else as neither of us were enjoying it and had only had a mouthful of each. After a conversation involving the woman shouting in her own language to someone else without warning, she came back with the offer of sending out two more of the same meal. We said that we were hoping to switch then as we just didn't like them, but she said it was that or nothing! After a couple more refusals she also said that she couldn't afford to do something else. The meals all cost around the same so what difference would it make?

I recently bought a special fried rice from Lotus' Chinese restaurant, as I do not eat Chinese food often, I asked the lady at the desk for some advice. I asked her what the difference was between a dry and wet special fried rice. She replied with "one is wet and one is dry", I laughed this off thinking it was a silly joke but was mistaken when I asked more thoroughly to find the specific difference. She finally, after around two minutes of explaining, told me the price difference and that one had "sauce" on it. I proceeded to buy the dry special fried rice. I waited only a short amount of time before I received my order, only to find there were peas in my order. Although I wasn't very pleased with the previous conversation and responses, I pointed out to the lady that there were peas in the dish. The lady begun to explain that all the fried rice dishes "except egg fried rice" came with peas; the lady also stated that all Chinese take always have the same recipe (including peas) and that I should have known that. I was appalled that she assumed I should know this information almost as if it were common knowledge. However, I begun to search the menu for this information but no such was found. As I am allergic to peas, I explained that I could not eat the dish, she replied with a stern "that's not my fault". A response I was not to keen of, appalled in fact. I asked if there were anything she could do about this and she replied "I can take It to the chef but he will only pick the peas out". Anybody with any sense knows that this is still highly dangerous when a allergy food has been in contact with the other parts of the dish. I explained that this was dangerous and once again received the reply of "that's not my fault". I decided asking was no longer an option and demanded, due to the fact that the menu stated no such thing, that she gave me a refund. She said there's "no way I'm going to do that because it will go in the bin and then I have wasted money and that will be on me", trying to say that she could not give a refund because it would seem like she had wasted money and food to her manager. I then asked to see a manager, but the lady said "there is no manager". She opened the doors to what I assume was the kitchen staff and began to yell in a different language. She then turned to me and said "no", and that was the last attempt I made. I am appalled and quite frankly never want to order from this place again. Rudest staff I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The lady just seemed like she really did not want to be there but this is no way to treat customers if that is the case.

ordered our food at 6:30 through just eat was given a time of 45 minutes which was fine. after 45 minutes had passed I checked on just eat and another 30 minutes has been added! then to get a phone call 7:35 to say they are cancelling the order as they haven't got a delivery driver! absolutely ridiculous! will not be ordering from here ever again!

Awful! Food never arrived and service was awful. At first our order was delayed which we didn't mind at all but when our order was still not here half an hour after the delivery time (and was reported as delivered) we called a their number. This turned out to be a private number which went to someone in Manchester. When we finally found the correct number by contacting just eat we were connected to a very rude woman who cancelled our order saying she didn't want our service after we politely asked for a discount, asked not demanded, since we had be waiting for over 2 and a half hours. Their excuse was that we had to confirm our order as we were first time customers and told us that they had emailed and rung us. However I recieved no email and no call so I doubt this is true. Would rate 0 stars if possible ruined our evening.
