Peacock in Warrington

Went yesterday for first time and will not be back ! £3.30 for 2 cups of cordial for two kids and then a steak sandwich with lots of chutney, I mean lots and that was to hide the there was hardly any steak in there ! For the price I expected a bit more, did tell the staff but decided to not make a fuss and eat and leave ! The staff was nice though and the place was clean !

Came in food with family, I ordered chicken Sunday dinner. the carrots looked like they had gone bad before they were cooked and were all wrinkly and cold. the chicken was the dryest chicken I’ve come across, the Yorkshire puddings turned to dust when rubbed between fingers, the stuffing was cold and lacked flavour, I gave up there and asked for a refund.Kids dinner- the beans had white bits in them and some looked fairly dark so I didn’t let my lad eat them, his chicken dippers looked like they had been in the fryer for far too long..the vegetarian sausages didn’t look to great either.My girlfriends garlic bread was surprisingly ok.The staff were very very slow at serving.Overall a very poor show. We won’t be returning. Probably ever.

The quality of food was great especially considering the price, the new manager and the rest of the bar staff are so lovely and friendly. Came here a few years ago and was quite disappointed but after the food and service today I’ll definitely be coming back again!!😊

We have not eaten here yet, but the menu is comprehensive and includes a pizza oven which opens early evening. They have a wide range of beers and lagers. Clean and modern

Bloody awful, my tastebuds will never forgive me. 3 of us ordered pizza, club sandwich, and mixed grill. The worst food we've had in over 10 years. I think the local authorities should be notified about this place.We had 1 member of staff check with us. I told her my food was not acceptable and asked her to remove it, and she did. This was 6.05pm and this girl must have just started her shift.

Great food. Family friendly ideel when the weather's nice with a little play park and beer garden. Staff where very helpful and polite. Plenty parking. Will definitely be returning

Another great visit, fantastic meal and good value. It was the steak night and me and my brother had the mixed grill and my partner had the bangers and mash and a bottle of chardonnay £31. As always staff were really pleasant and helpful.---------------Went yesterday for a festive meal and have to say it was the best meal I've ever had, made even more enjoyable by the polite, helpful and friendly staff. A big thank you from me and my partner a lovely experience.

Staff are really nice and friendly. My only issue is you can't open the doors to the play area from outside so my kids were locked out until they knocked on which was disturbing to the people sat nearest the door. Apart from that no complaints, the food was nice and the place was clean and tidy.

First time nipping in the other day, excellent service and great food. Never had a burger so big.Yummy!
