Had a mother's day lunch here. Food is lovely and always fresh. Can definitely recommend. Parking not too good though as it was market day.

A birthday meal for 5 people. Pub looked lovely inside however it was bitterly cold… we had to keepOur coasts on. Ordered 5 mains. 3 came out and were almost eaten when the other two mains arrived. I asked what the hold up was and was informed that the oven has stopped working. The meal (ribs) had been cooked in the microwave. The amount of steam gave this away. The ribs were very fatty and dry. We sent these back and requested different meals. When they finally arrived the evening had been ruined. We decided not to have desserts as we feared what these would be like plus we were now running late to our next function. The bill arrived with 5 meals and drinks on. Shocked that they wanted me to pay almost £100 for this. I’m not one for complaining or sending food back as I find this very embarrassing but tonight was just a sham. I was given a discount eventually and at the time I witnessed another customer complaining about the lack of quality in their meals too.,Such a shame as it’s a lovely pub but lacks atmosphere, quality of food and the staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing.

Upon entry this is clearly no standard vanilla pub. Amazing service from Claire from the moment we walked in. Great food and smooth San miguel on tap. Located in the wonderful village of lymm. Perfect afternoon bite to eat in gorgeous surroundings with great genuine friendly service.

It's very cosy place. I will come back to try slow breased ribs!

This was my first visit and to say I was impressed is an understatement. The Spread Eagle is a warm and welcoming place with lots of little rooms to sit and chill in to a lovely function room upstairs, and they even serve dogs!!!On my visit I didn't eat in the restaurant as I was there for a birthday party but I have a feeling we'll be back all the way from The Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

Had a buffet for 20 guests after my daughter’s christening and Claire did an absolutely beautiful job at decorating the function room for us, it was actually more than I expected and everyone commented on how lovely it was. Very reasonable prices, friendly service and great food. Would highly recommend!

Came here on Sunday and got the "two for ÂŁ20" deal on Sunday roast, amazed at the great quality and value for money. We were seated in one of the booths which was really comfy and we had plenty of room for 4 of us, there is perspex screens in-between all the seating making us all feel safe. Staff were really friendly and everything was a smooth operation. Can't wait to come back and have another roast.

Nice quaint pub with friendly staff, and good covid measures in place. Nice selection in the menu. We had the steak and ale pie, which I'd highly recommend! Only let down was that service was very, very slow. It was just as well we weren't in a rush! Would visit again however.

Wow what can I say, decided to try out my father's day gift "Dog friendly pub walks in Cheshire" after lovely walk around Lymm Dam finished off at the Spread Eagle in the village centre. Very welcoming reception from the owner and staff on arrival, taking time out from serving to come and ensure everything was good with our order etc and also to speak with us too. We ordered the Garden Platter which we shared and my son had the burger and skin on fries, possibly "THE BEST" he has ever had. Would highly recommend. And a little Gem on the list of revisits. Think it would be a cosy place after a winter walk.
