Went a 2nd time because I didn't think it would be as bad as the 1st. It was even worse. Had to throw away the lamb, didn't look cooked & was stone cold

Over an hour late, food was barely warm and delivery driver kept ringing door bell untill I answered at 9.30 at night while I had two kids in bed.

I personally think this is the best chip shop in Warrington, absolutely spot on, I would have put a picture on but it's all gone clean plate π½π

The photo is what is supposed to be a steak and kidney pie, is was as hard as rock, dry as a ditch, hardly any meat and no kidney, at Β£1.80 it was a disgrace and unedible. The fish my wife and son had was thin, looked cheap and the batter was poor.I have lived in Appleton for 19 years and bought more takeaways from the Stockton Fryer than I can remember under several different owners, if this is the standard of food post lockdown I'll be going to Cantilever instead.

First time i have ordered from here and it will surely be the last. Ordered fish and chips with scallops and prawn toast. The chips tasted like rubber they were cold and dry, the fish was drenched in oil so it was tastless. The prawn toast was burnt so badly it was not even edible. It was not to human consumption. I called the takeaway to make them aware of my order and how i was unhappy as i had not eaten in return i was told next time you come in we will give you some free scallops. You are happy to take customers money but cannot provide a decent service food was appauling as was the customer service. A big thumbs down for this place π

Online ordering is fab!! Very detailed menu and gives options of salt and vinegar on chips or sauces and salad on kebabs plus many other add on options. Very impressed. Will definitely order online again. 5*

Coming back from Warrington and needing to fed myself (wife away) I spotted the sign and instantly decided I wanted fish and chips. Not been here before and wasn't sure how good (or otherwise) it might be. But it turned out to be a great decision! Bit of a wait, but the fish and chips were freshly cooked and tasted great. Not oily or greasy, nicely cooked firm fish. Mushy peas also tasty. All in all a really good off the cuff decision. I'll be back!
