The Church Green in Warrington

Lovely spur of the moment lunch. Imaginative food (as you'd expect) and good service. Dog friendly too.

Food and service are excellent. Sharing pie is absolutely amazing. Fish and chips are superb. Lovely setting. Lots of room. Good service. Good coffee too. And the breakfast scrambled eggs are excellent- very generous portion. Good value. Good location for walk round Lymm dam first

The owners have put more work than anywhere to make it Covid safe and give us amazing food , drink and a wonderful Deli. If you haven’t been, you must. High end food and the most wonderful owners and staff.

Had a meal here with 3 adults & 4 little ones, lovely food & service, apart from not having cheaper meals for the children, they are all under 6yrs & don't eat much.We went on a Sunday, it was very busy & they managed to seat us all.Would be nice if they did an afternoon tea, if you don't want a full meal?Otherwise, would recommend!

Attached to the Church Green pub/restaurant a little gem of a deli offering just loads of interesting food to take away and enjoy. There's also taken out coffees and hot chocolate. Did I mention the cakes and treats? Admittedly it's a bit on the expensive side, but it's not Greggs. Did I mention the cakes and treats? Watch out for the rocky road.....😀

Son inlaw took me and the wife for a meal at The Church Green, in Lymm tonight. First impressions upon arrival very nice and bright we were shown to our table once we explained that we had booked in advance. Drinks were ordered wine for the ladies and two pints of lager for the men. My starter was Pate liver on French bread with a spoon full of mango chutney on the side. Very nice indeed and plenty of. Main Meal was Belly Pork with mash and veg, again very nice and plenty of. I'm not a desert person so I declined, the wife had cheese cake. A few more drinks before we decided to leave. Overall thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back. Thank you all for a great service.

What a great pub for some fantastic grub. Warm welcome and friendly staff, good service!

Friendly staff and great food in absolutely wonderful setting. Booked to sit outside. Ample amount of heating available to keep you warm if it gets cold in the evening. Menu has got a good variety of starters and mains. Mains portions are really good value for money and a small recommendation as said on the menu do keep some space for trying out the delicious deserts. Drinks are good quantity and very well done. Would definitely visit again to try more….

Great food, cozy and dry outdoor setting when dining outside. Really enjoyed our slow cook lamb pie although should have left more room for the lush pudding!
