Great food, great hosts and the kids can play in the garden area too so gives us 5 mins peace aha really nice place to sit out on a warm day

our Granddaughter 1st Birthday party was held here we were well looked after really friendly staff nice atmosphere.

Lovely home cooked food. Really generous portions. Good price. The children's meals, come with a large fruit shoot. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Would recommend

Nice enough place if a bit grubby. We only had a drink in the beer garden, 27 minutes stay. I know this exactly because I had a letter from their ANPR Car Park Police telling me I have to pay £100 for the privilege of using the car park and not notifying the bar staff. I've lived in Leigh all my life and never actually been in this pub before. I didn't notice the signs, yes they are there as I went back to check, but in all my days I have never had to notify bar staff that I've parked there. I went back and asked the landlord, and he advised an appeal process and mention his name - REALLY, for 27mins parking I have to appeal, utterly disgusting. Good luck with your parking scam, I will never return because of this, they reduced the fine to £20, but as I was away with work and didn't see the letter it's now gone back up to £100 and they are threatening me with bayliffs. What utter tosh, so bring it on. Avoid like the plague.

Excellent service, friendly staff and owners. Great food, Beef Lasagne and Pulled Beef Chilli were 1st class. Nice atmosphere, I would definitely recommend a trip to the Comfy!

I love this place, great food, and really lovely staff.Open fire, bingo and a quiz on Thursdays.Food very good value for money.Everytime we travel to Manchester this is where we will go in the evenings, even if it's a 30 min drive from our accommodation

Called in for late lunch/ early tea , safety measures in place , still need to leave contact details 👍 , settled for roast chicken with mash , really scrumptious , friend had the steak and scampi meal with peppercorn sauce again really scrumptious , everywhere spotless and plenty of room between tables which were then sprayed as soon as people left , staff really pleasant , will definitely be coming back to try other food on menu
