The Oakwood in Warrington

This was the first time I’ve ever been to Warrington/Birchwood. I was up from Wolverhampton with my mate Kev on business and we were very starving after the journey up and wanted to find a bite to eat. I walk into the birchwood shopping centre expecting a Greggs or some fast food outlet but I see planet coffee house. It stuck out like a sore thumb and it was exactly what I needed. Seeing it was my first time I opted for the planet breakfast. I swapped out the hash brown for a sausage and the planet breakfast comes with freshly buttered toast and a lovely coffee and in my opinion a bargain for £8. I wish we had planet coffee in Wolverhampton! My mate Kev had a create your own breakfast, 5 items for £6.50 which again includes a coffee. Me and Kev were really impressed by the food, the coffee and especially the staff. Very kind and helpful and whoever manages this establishment must be doing very well for themselves. Hopefully I can ask my boss in Wolves to send me up to birchwood and Warrington again in the future. Will definitely visit again when I can!

We had 2 Breakfast Sandwich Deals and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and the tables were kept clean.

First visit since COVID restrictions began, prices up, naturally, but the cheese on toast still world beating and the coffee excellent. Judging by the other customers all tucking into food, I can't be the only one that rates this cafe.

Hmmm it does its job. No massive issues but...BIG BREAKFAST not offered a replacement when I asked for one of the items not to be included. Hash brown was very crispy but could only taste the oil, sausages not overcooked so didn't look burnt, but slightly undercooked on the inside....blackpudding had just crumbled as if been cooked and left and re-heated

Excellent food and service Staff were very attentive and helpful WONDERFUL food.

Service deplorable- used to be great, but each time getting worse and worse food tasteless and bland. Prices have increased.Last time in when receiver after a very long wait, the roast beef was stone cold, and full of horse radish which wasn't either asked for nor told it would be on it. Friend had the sausages, which used to be lovely are now cheap and tasteless.Last visit regrettably

Never had bad food here be it breakfast lunch or just a coffee and cake just had lunch steak mushroom and onion barm steak melts in your mouth no fat or gristle double egg sausage n chips really tasty said hubby

The best chips and gravy we have tasted in Birchwood!The lattes are as amazing as ever. So smooth and creamy.Glad to see the high standards are as good as ever at Planet Coffee

5🌟 it’s been refurbished and looks nice 👍. Great friendly service and full English including drink ☕️ for £6.50 is very reasonable. Another good point is its location inside of Birchwood shopping centre. Nice to be back after lockdown 👍

Really good selection of food. Very good quality and very reasonably priced and for the staff, very friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone who just wanted a drink or a quick snack. Some places which have meat under the heat lamps the meat look dry but not here
