The Plough Inn in Warrington

I have visited quite a few times and found the food and atmosphere great. The online booking service is terrible, the option to make large bookings is available but will not allow you to make the booking. There is a phone number available on the website but is pointless as none of the staff are aware of it.

Went in for Sunday roast , admittedly we never booked and had to sit outside.. we both ordered beef , mine was OK but wife's was obviously last of the joint and was inedible. Returned it and ordered chicken instead, chicken was OK but the rest was tough as old boots. Did refund but very disappointed 😞.

Fantastic staff, lovely food! Had a nice chat with the new manager who was absolutely charming and talking about all the exciting plans he has for the pub. Will definitely be returning

Bar service was great, but meals terrible which was a shame as good previously. Ordered 2 burgers and kids meal, kids meal came wrong and burgers were stone cold (not even slightly warm) got a refund as had to return to work hungry

Lovely food, great service. Gets busy so always best to book a table. Always had a lovely experience here and I go often. Would recommend definitely.

A nice pub and despite being quite busy the food came pretty fast and was tasty too. Reasonably priced, we'll be back again no doubt.Update: we did come back. The food was OK for the price.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Scotland. A beautiful village pub. Big car park with overflow parking. Outside seating is nice. Friendly and efficient staff. Drinks and food arrived within 20 minutes. Gammon on skillet and Sunday Roast Beef were delicious and filling, top value for money. We made the right decision to have a nice relaxing meal here rather than the busy motorway services. Locals were also friendly. I will not hesitate stopping here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed this dish was far too much for me to finish but I gave it a good try ☺️☺️Unfortunately my partner didn't quite receive the same service asked for things to be removed wasnt done the first time and the second order they still put onions on his burger then took it back only to scrape them off leaving some still stuck to the cheese 😫😫

Having been here a number of times I knew what to expect but the great thing about this place is, it never disappoints!The menu has something for all tastes, there are a plethora of wonderful dishes to choose from.Each day has a different special offer, make sure to check prior to your visit!The covid security is second to none throughout the entire building, with extra seating provided outdoors now to enable social distancing.Orders are made via Greene King app which is very straightforward and easy to use.We are already planning a return visit on Friday as it is 25% off challenges!!
