The Raj in Warrington

I got home and found hair in my onion bhagis food wasn't up to shape they wanted to see the hair but it has gone in the bin.They won't give a refund out unless you bring the food and hair back to them.

Decided to order local rather than my usual. Well after spending £32 and waiting 45 minutes for a pick up order. I didn’t receive the free onion bhaji/tikka stater when you spend over £15. And not even a popadom! The food ALL tasted the same which was of nothing and After asking for the freebie that came with the meal (the reason I didn’t order a starter) upon collection I was told others have spent more and they are not bothered. Disappointed. What a waste of money!

Only moved to Burtonwood 2 weeks ago and been to The Raj twice 🙈.It really is a top notch Indian Takeaway. Food is really tasty and the portions are massive.Also very impressive to see fresh spices in the Curries (bay leaves, cardamom pods etc). Shows that the Curries are made fresh and by experienced chefs.

Excellent, never had a bad meal.Updated 6.2.21. Until tonight!! Madras had no flavour and tandoori starter did not taste fresh. I think this will be the last time ordering

I have been getting food from the Raj for a long time and the food has always been amazing and great value for money. I think it now has new owners (although I couldn't definitely confirm this) now the food is even better than before, which I didn't think possible. There now is more meat in the currys and tastes even better. I got the set meal for 2.Easy to order on website and than called to change something from the set menu, The Raj was happy to oblige.Food was ready when expected and I would definitely recommend.

Spot on.Lamb Samber with Keema rice. Great lemon taste and right amount of heat.Soft, juicy chicken tikka starter, my daughter loved it.

I ordered online via the website and received an automatic discount!I decided to collect and parking was ample. Met by a very polite gentleman who made me feel welcome.I opened my takeaway with a smile on my face. Very good portions for a very reasonable price.The quality was so good. Nice thickness of sauce balanced with flavour and generous meat portion. The chicken tikka was well presented. The fried onions were the finishing touch that makes takeaway go the extra mile.Cannot fault this place and can highly recommend to anyone in the area. Will be returning soon!
