Not been since lockdown, and really missed the great buzz about the place, excellent food, and brilliant service for a family birthday.

Beautiful food Excellent staff warm and extremely friendly will definitely be telling my friends to dine here and I will definitely be coming here again

Absolutely shocking service. Got told our order would be ready to pick up at 19:20 but I waited an extra hour until someone brought it out. Other customers was getting free bottles of beer / wine for waiting and yet just because I asked for a refund because I had to leave, 50 minutes after waiting, I got told "no you can't do that it will be out in a minute just be patient" which also resulted in me not receiving anything for the inconvenience. After waiting an hour wouls you say the food was worth it? No, it's just overpriced for what it is with hardly any flavour in the tikka chicken or the curry sauce. I wouldn't go here again there is other Indians in the area far better I quality and service.

Ordered two chicken pathias and a chicken madras with pilau rice I have to say we all really enjoyed them. Hands down the best curries weve ever tasted! Our compliments to the chef/chefs

Best curry I had in a very long time! The quality of the food is incredible and everything is so tasty. The atmosphere and staff are very nice and made us feel very welcome. Can't wait to be back!

Disappointed with the lack of customer service. I completely understand that on Christmas Eve things will be hectic and busy, but lying to customers after food being 30 mins late for collection is unacceptable. Around 10 other customers stood around for a rude manager to speak down to people. First time trying here after great recommendations by family and friends - not sure I will return - needs much better management. Not even an apology, just a manager that speaks to customers like dirt.

Best Indian in Culcheth by a country mile. Take away or eat in, the quality is always there. Chicken Khumbi one of my favourites. Anhar, the owner is very welcoming and staff are helpful if you are a stranger to Indian food.The Raj gives a lot of support to the local community. Free food during lockdown to deserving families for example, and sponsors various local events. They deserve to be supported in return.

Very welcoming atmosphere always someone to greet you at the entrance or the bar. I absolutely love their prawn starter along with all their curries. Definitely worth a visit, I'll be back soon.

One of the best Indian restaurants you'll find, staff are brilliant and will do anything to make your visit enjoyable. I've never ordered of the main menu I just tell the staff what ingredients I like and they always serve me a delicious meal! The whole experience makes you want to go again.

Avoid the baldy headed manager. The food was amazing but the service was appalling. First he said its different price to takeout and to sit in - dha I paid full price.. Then he said i have forks inside the bag although he knew its not there. Then he said they dont do salt or forks. I mean just the grumpiest the most miserable and useless manager I haver came across. The food was good though!
