The Stag at Walton in Warrington

Stopped for lunch after visiting local nature reserve - colleagues there were excellent and food was lovely.

Another good Sunday lunch. We had starters of black pudding with mustard sauce and chicken paté. The we had the small beef and lamb roasts. All our food was very tasty. Prices are reasonable and service was good.

Having attended a very early funeral service for my sister. The Stag was recommended to us for a breakfast buffet. It did not disappoint and their was plenty of food provided. Thank you to Lisa and her staff. Highly recommended.

Fish (cod) and chips for lunch....superb

Lovely well priced food and polite staff. Sunday lunch was a great size and really delicious. I'm sure we'll back again soon.

This is a regular Wednesday tea stop with my 95yr old mum who has dementia and two of my grandchildren (4 & 3 Yr old). The food is a good and the atmosphere is pleasant. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, nothing is to much trouble.

We had dinner here: the chicken burger and the lamb Henry. The lamb was very good! With delicious mash and gravy. The chicken burger very good too, with fresh tasting ingredients. And we saw the famous Antrobus soul cakers !

The manager was very helpful. We had made a reservation two weeks prior to going which made it rather disappointing when we had to wait 45 mins for the food to come, after ordering. This was understandable in today's climate but made it rather fraut with six children in tow. Food was good when it arrived.Ordering ahead would be a good idea.

Absolutely brilliant. Had problems with my trailer needed to park for the night safe with my lorry and two full tanks of fuel. Antonia said id be fine to park for the night with CCTV. Would definitely recommend this pub to anyone.💯💯💯💯💯

Had a nice Sunday dinner but was spoilt by hard veg...cauliflower & broccoli....& dry Turkey....it was very busy so I'll give them a break & see if there's improvement next time we visit.
