Good food at reasonable prices (chicken wings are a must 😁 - Real Ale top-notch £2.10 a pint 👍

·

Usual 'Spoons breakfast crowd / visit. Staff helpful, and brekkie delivered quickly, as ordered & typical good quality. App does not warn you to add your free drink, but staff stepped in to sort out. Great place to while away a few hours.

I Was working in town decided I would have a mixed grill for dinner ordered my meal at 20:30 I was sitting upstairs halfway through my meal I was told I need to move downstairs as they where closing upstairs I asked the-barman/waiter whether I could finish my meal first as I wasn’t told that this area closed at nine his reply was no I’ll carry it down for you not particularly happy with that reply I decided to leave my pudding that I purchased as I did not feel like standing at the bar to finish my meal as there was no more tables downstairs and I was not offered a refund not exactly happy with the experience or level of service receivedPoor service completely disappointed

Deals on food and drinks are a bargain. For example a pint of Leffe (6.6%) and a chicken wrap is £5.65. Plenty of seats over 2 floors. Decent and spacious toilets. Staff are all friendly and competent. Wouldn't go anywhere else especially now Looking Glass shut.

Great food. Fed 5 with drinks for under 40 quid and there are even tables available at peak times on a Saturday. You can't go wrong.

·

Rubbish. Our table never got cleared or cleaned from the previous people, even when our food...if you can even call it that came the waitress didn't clear up the old discussing cups, napkins, glasses, cutlery and plates. I wanted to leave but my partner was really hungry and persuaded me to stay. He wishes he hadn't as the food was awful
