Best chippy in area and pretty generous not fleasing customers with extortionate prices unlike some others locally. Not cheap but fair and frendly

Good food. Good service. Very competitive prices!

Consistent high quality of food and cleanliness. Does a variety of food including regular english chippy dishes as well as chinese meals, kebabs and pizzas. Visited today 18.5.22 and fish price has risen but still good value for quality food.

First visit.Battered pork balls quite small with a suspicious taste of 5 spice but still tasty. A convenient (for me) Chippy. Clean, well presented with polite staff. Will use again.

Unfortunately a quick lunch there was very poor. The steak pie was barely lukewarm. The staff should ensure this does not happen. The chips were level with the worst I've had. Honestly do the owners ever try there own food? Literally among the least palatable I've had from chippies, and I've had some bad ones!

Ate here well over 50 times and never had a bad meal.Good staff as well. The kids and I actually look forward all day to eating here.Love this chippy

Wish I could give a no star review. Know this - the star was only given so that I could leave a review. Ordered the Salt&Pepper box and it mainly consisted of chicken nuggets, with 2 burnt ribs, some chips and some strangely textured, chewy leathery items in batter that I couldn't identify even after trying to eat them. I only really ate the roughly chopped onion with the odd nibble of the other unmentionables before chucking the lot in the bin. Disgusting.

Been this chippy so many times and always been pretty good but my last meal was horrid. Fish & chips. The fish was so greasy when I removed it from the paper the batter stayed in the paper it was so sloppy and the chips weren’t even cooked properly very anaemic. Wife had a Chinese meal and the meat was full of gristle and not much flavour. Not sure if anything has changed but definitely not the chippy it used to be.

Food has been good but last three times I have used them there has been an item missing. Everyone makes mistakes but when it’s a big pre-order and the food is already bagged you can’t check that everything is there. Phoned to explain and told to come back but sorry that isn’t good enough. My experience where they habitually overcharge their customers for food they don’t receive is a poor effort and whilst I would recommend the food I’ve had enough of the service so will no longer use them. A pity all round.
