Barnyard Churrasco and Grill in West Lancashire

Great place with a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately couldn't give it 5 star as ordered Chateaubriand for my wife and myself and also my son and his girl, which when it came out we was given 3 pieces of meat per couple and can't help thinking they was trying to share the large centre cut fillet of tenderloin between the 4 of us, and at £55 per 2 servings then it soon looks like you are getting short changed at £110 before even ordering side dishes at extra cost 😳. I don't mind paying but at least get what your supposed to get and don't get treated as if you've never ordered these dishes before elsewhere.When I complained to one of the waitresses she seemed to take it personally and didn't really look bothered so I complained to the owner who in his defence did have a word with the chef and came out with a couple more pieces but by this time the whole experience was some what ruined. Normally when you order this dish elsewhere it comes and sliced at the table and you do get the whole tenderloin but for some reason they decide to share it out. Food was lovely but won't go back due to the fact it felt like you was getting short changed, and when you go to a place like this you expect better!

Great food and really good service, will return. I couldn't tip the waiter as they were unable or unwilling to add the gratuity to the total on the card payment, how daft. Sorry waiters!*update* dined again, excellent service and food just like before. Still no tipping on card but found a cash machine nearby for well deserved gratuity.

Lots of choice for steak, perfectly cooked. Ribs fell off the bone. The quality is unmatched!

Holy cow... quite literally! Terrible jokes aside, Barnyard brings such a great array of delicious meats to the table, that it's hard to not be excited while there. The staff here are all wonderful, and I give major props to both of the servers who were not only patient with us, but also quick to answer any queries we had with the upmost precision. The food recommendations were also spot on, and I can 100% recommend anyone who enjoys a good burger do try this place out!The cocktails, while not fantastic, did pair nicely with the atmosphere and food. Also, definitely worth trying to make a reservation indoors, as it can be quite cold outdoors despite the nice attempt at keeping it warm outside with heat lamps.

We had so much about the Barnyard so we decided to go for the wife's birthday .And we was not disappointed the food was amazing .The steaks where the best ever and cooked to our liking. The staff where great very friendly .would highly recommend this restaurant 5 stars .cant wait to go back

We as a family of four have just been for tea and the food was absolutely beautiful. Our daughter is currently living in ormskirk as at edgehill University so we come over regularly to visit and sample all the different restaurants.This one is certainly our favourite so far.The customer service and food was amazing.Will definitely be back. Loved it.Well done everyone!

Really amazing food. I had the pork belly, cooked to perfection. Some of the nicest food I've had in recent memory. The ribs just fell off the bone. Always enjoy trips here!

One of the best meals we have had in a long time. Staff fantastic. Nice setting and a lovely night out. Would highly recommend this place. The chocolate buttons brownie was AMAZING. A must !
