Well mixed feelings here. The staff were lovely, attentive and friendly, service with a smile. The coffee was excellent and great value for the size of the cup. Then came the food, although the sausage on toast was hot it was a bit tasteless to be fair, not a good quality sausage for the price that was paid. The poached egg tasted too much of vinegar. The bread was again not a good quality for the price of the meals. Sorry but just our opinion.

Bramleys is a busy coffee shop so I would advise booking. There is an extensive menu with plenty of choice so you find it hard not to have something you liked. I had a bacon and cheese quiche and salad. The food was lovely and I would definitely go back again. Service was a little on the slow side but again I think this is because of how busy the place is and seeing as I was meeting friends it was nice to have the time to chat with them while.we waited for food.

First time visit on a busy Saturday morning for breakfast. Disappointed by the quality of the sausage toasted sandwich, for nearly £5 I expected better bread and sausages. Service was good though, staff friendly and polite, but the quality of the breakfast for the money paid would make me think twice about visiting again.

Another lovely visit to Bramleys with my sister to celebrate her 80th birthday. The service was as usual top notch, delicious food served by lovely attentive staff. My sister opted for the lasagna, she said it was the best she had tasted. My niece had the chicken burger again delicious and beautifully served. I opted for cheese and onion quiche served with a lovely salad. We will be back again soon.

Great cafe in Ormskirk, worth seeking out up that little arcade. Called in twice recently (December 2021) after not being there for a while. Much bigger than it looks, very interesting layout and a big menu. All-in-all a good spot to visit, I would say.

Took my friend for gluten free afternoon tea today for her birthday. The staff were amazing, kind and very attentive. The food was absolutely beautiful. I'd highly recommend! Thank you for making our afternoon so lovely. Wonderful, precious memory to treasure. We were made to feel so welcome.

This very popular & excellent coffee shop is always nice clean & tidy, provides an extensive range of drinks & food options on the menu ,tables are located on the ground floor with more upstairs. The staff are always Welcoming & provide a very pleasant table service ,which makes the experience more enjoyable, bill payments can made by cash or card .Bramley's also provide a loyalty stamp card for returning customers which I do have myself ! even though I probably only use it yearly when I stop off in Ormskirk on route to Southport from Derbyshire. I do recommend a visit whether it's just for a cuppa or bite to eat .

Came here for friends birthday. I emailed to reserve a table and said it was for Alice's birthday. When I've organised afternoon teas for special occasions in the past at other places, the venue has either put a special message up or written happy birthday in chocolate on the plate (1 place put a balloon at the table) But nothing of the such was done here. Staff weren't aware of us coming and no table had been reserved, so it didn't feel particularly special. I shouldn't of bothered emailing venue ahead of booking, as it made no difference. Food was ok, but you only get 1 cup of coffee (most afternoon teas I've had have offered free refills of tea & coffee.) Cake selection was disappointing. I've had a lot of afternoon teas in my time but this wasn't a particularly amazing one sadly. Sandwhich was nice, but I personally wouldn't choose to go back here in a hurry 😏 (Picture shows afternoon tea for 2.)

Very pleasant setting; very good customer service. Sadly, however, the coffee was very unpleasant. It was very anemic, lacking any body or flavour. The breakfast was also of a very poor quality: the tomatoes and mushrooms were soggy and tasteless. The meat was very poor quality. I'm not sure what type of sausage it was, but it didn't appear to be fit for human consumption. The egg was fine. I would not recommend Bramley's, which is a terrible shame, as the staff are lovely.

I completely forgot to leave a review at the time, but I had a lovely afternoon tea here with my friend over a month ago. Really generous portions for the price (enough that we each brought home a box of cakes with us afterwards!). Delicious food, lovely service. What more could we ask for? 😊
