"The Chapel is a vibrant arts space in the centre of Ormskirk. With a café/bar hosting regular live music/comedy and other events in the evening, the café provides excellent food and coffee during the day and is home to MrThomposon's famous Ormskirk gingerbread. The café and large gallery -project space provides a platform for some of the best painters in the Lancashire region. There are over 50 hours a week of arts related classes available to join including classes in the light and spacious Lunar dance and yoga studio. The Lancashire Makers a group of over 20 artists and makers come together to create a unique shop at The Chapel."

Attended the Rush of Laughter comedy night. Would highly recommend trying it and supporting it. The bar is well stocked and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going again.

It's a little away from the market so less busy if you want a drink and/or quiet chat with a friend. We felt welcome and the caramel flashback was the best I've ever tasted.There are artworks and artisan pieces to look at in the gallery in addition to the lovely coffee shop

We went to a comedy show here and the staff were lovely and had good systems in place to you could order easily without having to crowd the bar. I would also recommend the cake here! Only thing is we got there when the doors opened for the show and were waiting for a couple of hours. I would ring and see when the show actually starts next time.

Spent a wonderful evening here last night at a Comedy night with the BRILLIANT Ignacio Lopez @ComedyLopez. Really beautiful space, lovely place to watch comedy. We were well looked after a well stocked bar and absolutely delicious cakes! Looking forward to going more often

Great evening last night ....the new series of jazz events The Jazz Spectrum hosted at the Chapel Gallery has found a great venue. Now how come I've never discovered this gem venue before. Totally recommend following them on Twitter and see the evets unfold. It'll get a big following in this university market town.
