Il Padrino in West Lancashire

Whenever we have been to Il Padrino we have never been disappointed, the food plus the service is always great, we literally have never loved the food + service as much as anywhere we av been. We just wish we would have booked there for my husbands 60th, but never mind we av learnt our lesson + won't try another place again..

This is a cosey little restaurant with an extensive menu. All the food was delishous and the staff were friendly. I would definitely go back to try something else on the menu.

The worst Dining Out Experience I have had in a long time. There is nothing Authentically Italian about this place, it isn’t Managed by Italians even. Service was poor, Got our drinks order and Main Course Order wrong after waiting an hour. Our Starters were Burnt although reasonable to taste once I got past the initial Burnt Taste. The Manager blamed his staff but we actually felt sorry for them because they were clearly ill trained and not suited to Restaurant work. I’ll never go here again….Avoid

Service was appalling, waited nearly 30 minutes just for a drink food was OK but steaks were too peppery, then card machine didn't work and we're told would have to pay by cash.. wouldn't go back

I don’t ever leave negative reviews however I was so disappointed tonight! We regularly eat here for date nights, the service was terrible! Even though there seemed to be more than enough staff who didn’t seem to have any idea what they where doing, so just all crowded the bar area talking! At one point we had been waiting so long for the rest of the drinks i went to the bar to get it myself as the girls where to busy not doing anything! Then had to ask could we order for the same reasons! It’s normally quite clean and organised at this restaurant with attentive staff but it wasn’t the case tonight we had all smashed glass under our table too, and it was at leas than half capacity so no excuse! I really. My daughter couldn’t eat her food as it tasted terrible as I said it’s not normally the case! All our meals came out with huge gaps inbetween kids waited 15 mins after ours had been served, my order was wrong and when it did arrive it tasted as though it was frozen cooked chicken pieces. So disappointed, we haven’t eaten here in a couple of months and I’m not sure what’s happened in the meantime but it’s such a shame! On a positive not much partner said the carbonara was nice!

gorgeous italian and lovely customer service. service was a bit slow, however it was a busy night so it was understandable. very big portions of gorgeous food and great offers on all week. perfect little family for any occasion! really recommend the tortellini 😋

This restaurant is extremely welcoming and has attentive and quick staff. Our meals were amazing and due to the offers we got steak for half price which made the meal very cheap. We had such a great experience and we will definitely be coming back.

If I had to say how amazing time I had in this place I wouldn't get enough space to say it! But the staff was friendly and the man was 5* very interesting with his passion in Italian food! Talking about food and all the offers available during the week! oh my days food home made, so fresh you would ask for more if you had space in your belly 🤪. I totally recommend anyone trying this place! Be patient and enjoy the cocktails or a good wine!

Had a lovely meal here. Food contains less salt but is finely balanced. Had delicious chicken breast. Tasty and good. Service was a bit slow, however they stepped it up and made our evening just right. An ideal place to eat if you are near the railway station and decide to head off for a bite. We will go back.
