Just been to the sandy Lane chippy that's under new management, what a rip off. The food portions are smaller but they are charging the same price. The photo of the fish chips and curry sauce don't even doesn't even come from sandy Lane chipy, a few pot plants in the window doesn't make it taste any better. Don't waste your money.

With the New owner came a New Chef whose food is amazing. The woman who serve are always very pleasant and if you like chop suet rolls, try these homemade ones. Ask for a spicy chop suet roll and if the New Boss has the time she'll make you one. Stunning. I think best Chinese in Skem.

Best chippy in Skelmersdale by far! Lovely staff and delicious meals. The best ribs I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Very good chip shop, can be extremely busy Friday tea time. Excellent fish & chips and good selection of Chinese meals.

Chips were a bit iffy, but the massive problem was the Cheeseburger. Tasted like A Spring Roll, got three strips of lettuce leaf in it (instead of the tomato and lettuce they offered) and a really tiny slice of cheese on it.

Always loved this place for salt and pepper chips and all great food but got take out last night and never gave us all our food 2 chop suey rolls missing certainly not driving from tamhouse to old skem to pick up missing items and the fried rice was foul absolutely drenched in oil still repeating on me today. Never had a problem in many years very suprised standards slipped and paid for food I never got.

Food is great but the elderly English woman had a bad attitude and was rude after messing up my order! My regular Chippy aswel! Young girls who work there are a delight as always! You could hear the woman slagging off the owner while he was in the back and I could hear him being aggressive to his staff!!.. Terrible

The staff here are nice and helpful. I ask for my fish lightly battered, and so many chip shops nod and say "here's your lightly battered fish" whilst handing me a slab of overcooked rubbery fish, thick with batter.This place know exactly how to cook the fish. Beautiful, lightly battered, tender, flaky fish, and the chips were really good too.
