Excellent quality pub food (their gammon, leek and cheese pie special was to die for) and drinks for really reasonable prices. Gorgeous interior with a lovely atmosphere and canalside location.

What a difference to this great little pub.Last time we visited this place we had to complain about certain issues, however this visit was 'top notch'. Food was great, service the same and even better, your four legged friend is allowed in with you.Don't know if the management team has changed but well done.

Highly recommended if you want a perfect hot tasty fresh Sunday roast beef dinner, so if your looking for somewhere a little off the beaten track which has a quaint relaxing atmosphere then this is the ideal place for you. No complaints all round super service provided by all staff from entering the establishment throughout well done all at the "Ship Inn" I will definetly be returning in the near future and also definetly recommend to all friends an family who ask for yummy Sunday roast venues to try out A πππ

Great pub, lovely food. This is a canalside, dog friendly pub. Will be using again soon.

Really happy this place has reopened. We called up to check after visiting a local farm shop.Service was really good. Quick & efficient even though it was busy. Bar & surrounding area were clean & tidy. Prices were not too bad but the food was excellent. It was damp outside which was a disappointment as it would have been nice to sit outside by the canal. We will definitely visit again soon.

Perfect location for some food with my hungry 8 year old daughter after Pumpkin Alley.. rang to see if had a table for 2 and they did. Was nice and cosy feel to it with very warm and friendly staff. The food was good, only down side was it took almost 40 mins for a kids meal and my Sandwich meal to come. They werenβt busy at all. My daughter wanted a dessert but promised her a Sainsburys desert on way home to Blackburn as didnt want to risk it taking a while for dessert. All in all would go again especially summer time as outside looks great too. Prices not bad either.

Food OK, service was good, over charged for drinks we didn't have we only realised when we checked later at home. We did check when we where there as it was a family celebration and didn't want the birthday boy paying like he usually does.. DEFINITELY WE WON'T BE TRUSTING THEM AGAIN TO GET THE BILL RIGHT

I lovely pub on the canal.Inside is a large space with a main dining area and another bar/sitting area. A group of 4, all our meals were excellent! It was summer when we were there & the World Cup was on so they had a gazebo outside with a tv to show the games.Outside there are also lots of tables beside the canal to sit and enjoy your meal and the lovely views.Highly recommended, good for families.
