Best bar in Ormskirk! Best atmosphere, lovely pints and under top management

In my opinion styles is the best night out location for students in ormskirk. Its not as popular as alpine so its generally always easy enough to find a table if you want one. They also do great offers on cocktails and shots. The music is almost always great. The only complaint is that the toilets are very small and are often a bit grim

Stunning place, this was were ormskirk was founded by admiral hornchurch in 1620. He sailed up Burscough Street on his clipper. Amazing man actually all the charges against him were eventually dropped after a plea deal and having all the dogs released from his galley! Some in suzzies! Anyway back to the matter at large beautiful place to drink and full of rich history. 👍

Let us take a seat then told us one of our group wasn't allowed to join? Spoiled our entire night, had only had one drink before hand so seemed to be a specific attack on our group. We were happy to spend a good amount here so dont understand why they kicked us out after we had ordered our drinksMoney grabbing for sure. Cant think of any explanation otherwise. Would not recommend.

Beer nice, bar quiet but men on door are horrible. Bossy and think they can bully customers.

Staff are lovely, drinks prices are reasonable. It is however a youth oriented place,, as an aging 40 something it was a bit too loud for me. But if that's what your in to then it's a great little place with plenty of buzz.

If your a fan of quiz nights, then you'll love this place. Service is fast but I do feel it could do with a refresh. But definitely the most lively bay in this town that isn't a club.

Oh Styles... what is there to not say about it! This is one of the greatest hidden gems in Ormskirk... literally. If you can find it right away kudos to you!Back behind the little shops downtown, down 1 of 2 alleyways dotted with tiny shops, you will come upon Styles, like a mecca in the dessert. This is seriously the place to go during the week if you just want to get out of the house. They have 2 pound drink specials every day and more shooters than you can imagine. They also have a quiz night, an open mic night, karaoke night, and live music at least 2 out of the 7 days of the week. Just a note that most of this goes on upstairs. If you just want to come hang out in a great bar with great people and atmosphere or just grab a bite to eat of their awesome food, then the downstairs will be just perfect!I recommend going early on quiz night to get a seat for you and your group.
