The Acropolis in West Lancashire

Ordered 3 portions of Fish & Chips to pick up & collect.They were all individually boxed as requested.They were delicious plenty chips & the fish were nearly as long as the boxes.Very pleased & the ladies behind the counter were polite & helpful.Definitely coming again worth every penny.👍😉🐟🍟🍴🥫

Absolutely the best chippy in the area, fish is always freshly cooked and tastes Devine, nice crunchy batter with loads of flavour, chips are perfect, the curry sauce is to die for, staff are polite and efficient, can’t recommend them highly enough 😍😍😍

quite expensive. bought some barbecue spare ribs £7 for 5 small ribs.were overcooked burnt. but didn't quibble giving my money back and did apologise

Absolutely top tier. Best in ormskirk by a mile. We had salt & pepper chicken, duck spring rolls, crispy chilli beef egg fried rice & salt and pepper chips. Honestly unbelievable everything was full of flavour 🙌

The Acropolis, is one of the best you'll find, we've used them for over 40yrs. The fish is really good. The noodles, in fact all the Chinese food is excellent. Service is very good. There's plenty of staff. It's clean. You can't go wrong 👍

Great mix of cuisine. I had a cooked to order Tai box, a well filled box of chicken, noodles and veg, couldn't eat another thing! Husband enjoyed his traditional pie and chips (massive chip portion). Delighted.

Very clean, modern looking fish and chips shop. Just out of Ormskirk town centre. Opposite the Morrisons.Short stay parking at the front of the store for easy access.Prices are great, food is amazing and staff are friendly and helpful.Takeout food only. No tables or chairs inside or out.

Me and my hubby drive all the way from Liverpool to this chippy once a week, the food is second to none, lovely fresh fish, cooked expertly while you wait, happy, friendly staff. The place is very clean and we love the news paper printed boxes the fish and chips come in. This place is a credit to Ormskirk, ignore the negative reveiws, those folks must have a chip on their shoulder (should have eaten it, if it was from here. lol)
