Great fish and the best curry sauce around.Their chips can be hit and miss and sometimes slightly undercooked prices are good and it's amazingly clean ..recommend to anyone in the areaOwner responded - Date was Saturday just gone and the time was approx. 7pm. Service was fantastic as always but the chips needed a little longer - keep up the great work

Really nice food and a decent price. Not 'fast food depending on what you order but freshly cooked all the same.

Fish and chips were stunning. Love the mild curry sauce. Friendly staff. Excellent service. 5 out of 5 food hygiene rating. What more can I ask for.

Not been on a good while n thought I've give it a try as I was passing. chips curry and rice well the right was more like butt uncle Ben's microwave rice the curry wasn't that nice at all and the chips were very hard. Also order chips and sausage for the kids one come with a free hair. Don't think we will be returning.

After 7pm. Cod 'n chips at a 'Special of the Day' price. Fish cooked to order was crispy with thick white firm flesh. Chips, although already cooked when I arrived, were hot and tasty. Most enjoyable and good value. Nice and clean with friendly staff. What's not to like? 😊

When it's good, it's very very good.A good traditional fish and chip shop, serving haddock or cod and much more.It's fairly rare to find a chip shop up north that serve s pickled eggs, but that gives you an idea of what type of chippy this is.Pudding, pies, smacks and kids nuggets all available.No disabled access as there are steps.No where to sit inside, take away only.The curry sauce is the milder sweet style.

I had heard really good things about this place, but have to be honest, my visit left me not wanting to go back.The prices are through the roof compared to other chip shops. They don't have fresh boiled rice, it is frozen and then nuked in the microwave.For curry, rice and chips, you'd expect a food container with a lid on wouldn't you? Yeah, not here. The paper ended up with more curry on than our food and it just wasn't anything special.The chips were nice, I can give them that. But it doesn't look appealing inside, has very poor lighting outside, seems to have a wall collapsing in the kitchen and just doesn't have a nice feel about it.

Great piece of haddock freshly cooked to order, approx 5 mins. Lovely chips, lovely curry sauce, friendly staff @ great prices! What more do you want? Best chippy for miles around!
