The Hesketh Arms in West Lancashire

I had a warm welcome, being an ex frequent customer. The were friendly and the food very good as I would expect from their excellent staff. Well done to all the staff for having kept standards up during and after Covid.

First time visiting here. Just myself and my Dad who has dementia. It was nice and quiet on a Wednesday lunch time which suited us. Staff very helpful and friendly. Love the original features of the place. We had fish and chips and the burger. Possibly the best burger I've had. Definitely will be calling in here again. Would recommend. Quite reasonable too.

Called in to the Hesketh Arms a couple of times on a recent visit to the area. Busy place with a great atmosphere. We dined on one occasion and have to say the food was delicious. Would recommend.

A real authentic country pub. Always made welcome. Well prepared food and helpful staff. Only downside is sadly no dogs.

Dropped in for a drink with friends. Good selection of drink with some guest beers. Looked popular for food but didn't study the menu. Ambience was ok.

Great traditional, cosy pub with warm fires and friendly, helpful staff. Real ales served. I recommend Monday steak night in particular - delicious tender steaks with crispy onion rings cooked in the lightest batter.

Brilliant pub and fantastic staff... And the food is great well worth a visit.. You won't be disappointed.. Well done guy's... 😁

Decent pub we had an enjoyable Sunday lunch here. Staff are friendly and capable.

Very nice, local village gastro pub.Lovely menu and still full of flavour and variety post COVID lockdown and with very workable social distancing measures in place.We had: patè, chicken strips and garlic ciabatta as starters. Sirloin steak, gammon, southern fried chicken burger and a prime beef burger as mains.All cooked superbly and tasted fantastic.
