Had a meal in there tonight, simply the best.The staff are a real credit, met the lady usually in the kitchen cooking, extremely helpful.This place is a 10 out of 10, go yourself asap. Thanks yet again from mike and my kids

sunday roast lamb the meal was exceptional BUT GRAVEY AS THIN AS DISH WATER AND WHEN I ASKED FOR EXTRA THICKER GRAVEY IT WAS £1.50 AND THE JUG WAS LIKE IT CAME FROM A DOLLS HOUSE.

We used to be regulars here until Andy and Sandra moved on.. tried it when it changed hands but weren't particularly enamoured... tried again a week ago, and definitely going to be regulars again!! Delicious home made food, beautifully presented and reasonably priced, and lovely service! Now top of our list!! ( after the Fishermans Rest)..

Nice quality beers, decently priced. Good walk from ormskirk, warm, welcoming, and a nice open fire! The staff are absolutely amazing and enforce social distancing really well which is always good peace of mind, the customers are also nice and will have a laugh. What more could you want from a pub!
