We went as a family for breakfast at the weekend and were disappointed from the onset. As we stood at the booking in area, on arrival, waiting to book in, we were asked quite abruptly to move by a waitress because she was taking food outside, which was a pleasant start to our breakfast meal. Our table was booked for 10.45 and at 11.20 we were still waiting for our order to be taken. When the food eventually arrived, it was disappointing. The poached eggs on the eggs Benedict and in the full English breakfast were hard, despite requesting soft poached eggs. Two of the meals were returned to the kitchen but by the time the meals were redone the rest of the family had finished their breakfast, which was at best average and which wasn't a good experience. We also found the resturant/cafe cold and we ate with our coats on and the venue was extremely noisy, which again isn t ideal when trying to enjoy breakfast. Probably wouldn't rush back.

Always such a lovely experience eating here, had the eggy bread this time, so delicious 😋 I had lunch today, fish and triple cooked chips with tarter sauce and mushy peas, the batter was light and the fish was cooked to perfection, delicious!

Excellent service, seating arrangements very good plenty of room between tables, a good airy feel to the place with high air conditioner ceilings. The meal was delicious and excellently presented by the chef the same was applicable for the pudding. There is a good selection of cooks and chefs for the highly varied menus. In a good location with excellent views and a covered area for outside fayre.

Lovely food, friendly and efficient staff. Would recommend and will be going again

·

Lovely lunch as always the sunshine was a bonus and the mint choc gateaux was to die for

Excellent cafe/restaurant. Great food, but slightly on the higher price side. Massively improved on previous visits which were poor experiences. Downsides are it's often extremely busy, causing everything to go a little downhill. Watch the overflow carpark, its a train wreck site of car wrecking potholes.

Brilliant food, service, and drinks. Got a great Full English Breakfast which (despite initial skepticism due to the price) turned out to be one of the best I've had in a long while. Staff are fab; friendly, attentive, and covid-safe. Coffee was good for a cafe, with the flat white I had being tasty and (mercifully) not burnt. Overall would definitely recommend, and will be using this as a regular meet up spot when we are up that way.

Great meal. My wife has coeliacs and had Gluten Free fish and chips and GF cake. Will return. Excellent
