Good cosy country pub. Good menu including a game menu. Food freshly cooked, hot and well presented. Well kept cask beer. Dogs and rambler's welcome.

·

Great food. Proper country eaterie . And has a very good game menu.

I don't know why more people don't visit here ? The food is superb the place is super clean and the beer good ! Its not expensive either -go on support it -give it a try -you won't be disappointed!

Stopped for lunch after not visiting for some time. This pub used to be worth traveling for, we have had some excellent meals there in the past. The pub was a bit cold, a big old fire would have been great.Service was great, the starter, not so much, but it was taken away quickly without argument, an not charged for.The mains were excellent, and could not be faulted. One constant however was the quality of the beer. Landlord was excellent, and at £4 a pint, very reasonable. Will go again, if the heating is on and the starter somewhat better, the Rigbye Arms would deserve 5*.

I used go there yrs ago. It served the best rib eye steak. With peppercorn sauce In England. Wish those days could come back

We stopped here today food amazing but the atmosphere was very Solomon and felt awkward we did feel this let the place down coz the food was amazing this would put us off going back unfortunately

·

The food was excellent but the place just needs a bit of a lift. The fire should have been lit and there needs to be a bit more atmosphere. It didn’t feel like a cosy country pub which it should do.

Excellent meal served by friendly staff and the host was very good, will definitely go again just to have something else I fancied on the menu.

We went here last week for a family members birthday as we've not been for ages because of Covid restrictions and even though I can't fault the staff who were friendly and helpful there wasn't as much to choose from off the menu as we like the chicken rigby and it wasn't on. Also frozen chips and veg which used to be all fresh. But on the positive side the chicken curry was yummy and the kids burger and chips was a good size. 👍

Great place. Friendly staff decent amount of parking. Good selection of drinks. Big selection of starters which is rare, massive selection of mains including a game menu which is great for a country pub/restaurant. Definitely not a pub that does a bit of food. Great service and food vwas very decent and was quick to arrive Prices are reasonable not cheap but not overly expensive so just about right. Went for a friend's reunion and they were happy for us to be seated for 30 mins plus and after our food which was nice. Took a booking although it wasn't packed when we went.Overall would definitely recommend a quintessential Lancashire country Inn and eatery.
